Ser Scot A Ellison
Nobody else interested? Heck as an animated series the original actors could participate without too much difficulty.
Night's_King
Of course I am interested! This would be awesome!
Dulcinea
Amazing! I'll watch anything Firefly related. That was one of the greatest shows ever.
OnionAhaiReborn
Is this an actual thing that's happening or am I getting excited over nothing?
Sci-2
Is this an actual thing that's happening or am I getting excited over nothing? I won't be excited until I see an actual episode air. Also, I'd like Serenity to be retconned into oblivion.
Veltigar
I won't be excited until I see an actual episode air. Also, I'd like Serenity to be retconned into oblivion. :agree: They should go full X-Men: DoFP on Serenity.
Ser Scot A Ellison
I liked Serenity. What's wrong with Serenity?
felice
I liked Serenity. What's wrong with Serenity? It's a good film, but there are parts that don't fit very well with the series.

OnionAhaiReborn
I won't be excited until I see an actual episode air. Also, I'd like Serenity to be retconned into oblivion. Is this because you don't like the effect certain major character events will have on the series or because you didn't like Serenity as a film? I can understand the former, but not the latter. Serenity was amazing, in my opinion.
felice
They retconned River's rescue by Simon. What else? It's been a while since I've seen it, but Mal's attitude towards them regressed, too. And Mr Universe felt a bit out of place without a proper introduction. And the Alliance ships were all completely different from the ones seen in the show. denstorebog
Serenity was far superior to all of the Firefly episodes except maybe episode 7. In fact, most all of the episodes need to be seen with some lenience - the pace is often inconsistent, with unnecessarily long dialogues, and the humor is often contrived. Firefly is a good series in spite of its many, many episode-level flaws, not because of their absence. Some episodes were actually generally tiresome but always with a couple of good gags in them to make them worthwhile. I feel that Firefly was still finding its pace and would probably have become stellar in later seasons, much like Buffy didn't work all that well in its first season. Serenity is much more streamlined, tight and consistently funny. The first five minutes alone are an achievement in the art of exposition and getting on with things. Mark Antony
Idk been a while since I've seen it. The deaths didn't feel earned to me, the vibes were different (not as western) and wasn't much a fan of ninja river. Prefer "Objects in Space" a million times over tbh
Ser Scot A Ellison
MA,I loved "Objects in Space" too. Still do but that doesn't make Serenity bad.
Mark Antony
Never said it was bad, There are some good moments ( the entire first 20 or so minutes stand out). Just prefer "Objects" as an ending point. If I were to rewatch firefly I doubt id bother with Serenity again.
Fez
There comes a time when things, no matter how good they were, should just be let rest. Firefly reached that point a long time ago.
