Mine has gotta be Jon receiving the bastard letter in episode 10, I really hope Kit Harrington can nail this scene, and knowing he is one of the actors to actually have read the novels, I think he can do it. I just hope they don't replace Bowen Marsh with Delorous Edd Then to see the reaction from my friends will be priceless, "For the watch.."

The Battle of Ice, if we get it next year (it would either be in 509 or 510). And I want to know how it ends unlike that goddamn ADWD building up to it and then leaving us in the lurch!

Other than that, some of the character meetups will make for great TV, Tyrion and Jorah in particular.

Daznak's should be awesome too.

Hands down, Daznak's Pit.

If HBO , and I am expecting they will, goes deep pockets on the VFX this will be a sensation!

It was big surprise in the book, in fact up to that time things had been interesting but I did not expect George's big POW!

yea, the dragon in the pit will probably be the highlight and finale.

Jon coppin' a dagger in the guts will probably be the end of episode 9.

I'm also looking forward to seeing born again Lancel - which I think will be in season 5. Burnt Loras - which I'm not sure will be in the season.

I really wanted to see Arriane but it doesn't look like she is going to make it. I was looking forward to her seeing her talk with dad after she has been locked up. And, while on the Martells, I would like to see Quentyn's stupidity play out in full, though I've got a feeling that won't be in the show either -more is the pity.

Books spoilers, a?

Well Arya going blind , I wonder if they will do that?

George ended her story in Feast with that, quite a cliff hanger, had to wait till Dance to find out what happens!

I was most pulled in by Arya's HoBaW story over Feast and Dance, a very rich Braavos setting there.

I am think season 5 will cover Arya's story with the FM , maybe a little more in 6... which makes one wonder how they will frame 'Mercy', since part of that was covered s4E1.

I think a variation.

Daznak's is actually in 509, via a picture someone on set got a picture of the slate when they were filming the Pit stuff in Spain.

Wonder how they will finale the season then? Surely not Dany's bowel issues :D

Varys killing Kevan would be a cool wway to end, like the book - but Kevan isn't in the show, is he?

My personal Top 3:

1.) The scene from my avatar picture & signature text (If you read this post once, and I've already changed my avatar/sig to something else, I'm talking about Theon's confession-scene in front of the Weirwood tree), it's my favourite scene of all in the books, and knowing Alfie Allen, he'll nail it!

2.)

The Manderly Court. And it may not happen :(

I was about to say "Everything Manderly! And especially his "The North Remembers!"-speech", but now it seems unlikely we'll get him :crying: I still hope the speech is in, in any form.

3.)

The Battle of Ice, if we get it next year (it would either be in 509 or 510). And I want to know how it ends unlike that goddamn ADWD building up to it and then leaving us in the lurch!

Thiiis! More Stannis! :commie: More Roose! :commie: Stannis VS. Roose!!! :commie:

... Yeah, basically everything up there in the North, and especially everything with Theon / Stannis / Roose & Jon* of course, too  (and I, goddamn, want to know what happens with Davos and Yara on the show!)

* I'm generally very interested in the whole Wall-storyline and to see Jon as LC, and especially stuff like "For the Watch", "Edd, fetch me a block!", Jon/Stannis, Jon/Mel, aso.

1. Daznak's Pit - This should be a phenomenal action set piece and a worthy entry into Game of Thrones' tradition of epic Episode 9 moments. I'm also very excited to see how certain characters (namely Tyrion and Jorah) are going to be worked into the scene under new circumstances.

2. The Walk - Lena Headey is going to crush this scene.

3. For the Watch - I wouldn't say that I'm looking forward to the Ides itself so much as its immediate aftermath. I really hope that the show goes a bit beyond the books here and offers us a glimpse of what comes next for Jon.

4. The Sorrows - I didn't love all of Tyrion's journey in ADWD, but this sequence was just amazing. With fAegon almost certainly out, I was prepared for the Sorrows to be gone but filming reports appear to indicate that it made the cut. I'm stoked to see how it plays out on screen.

5. Jaime and Bronn in Dorne - A new addition for the show, but one that I'm quite keen on. I'm particularly eager to see their skirmish with the Sand Snakes and how Jaime and Doran interact.

6. Arya entering the House of Black and White and meeting her mentor - I have a strong suspicion that this is going to be the sequence that closes out the first episode. If the rumors of Tom Wlaschiha taking on this role (either as Jaqen or the Kindly Man) are true, this moment should be even better.

7. Arya crossing another name off her list - I initially thought that the climatic scene of Arya's Season 5 arc would be her first "official" assassination of the ship insurance salesman, but filming reports seem to indicate that she will cross paths with a character who's long been on her list and get a bit of revenge for an old injustice.

8. Theon's escape - Due a lack of filming and casting leaks for the Northern storyline, there remains a great deal of uncertainty about exactly which characters will or won't appear. Nevertheless, it's a safe bet that Theon reclaiming his identity will be a major climatic moment for the Winterfell arc this season.

9. The Battle of Ice - We don't know for certain if we'll see this yet, but there have reports of battle preparations and a large battle in the snow, so I hope that we'll see it this year. If Game of Thrones is going to dip into The Winds of Winter material, this is the best place to do it. If it leads to a clash between Roose Bolton and Stannis, so much the better.

10. Sansa's continued maturation into a player - I don't really have a specific scene in mind, but I'm very curious to see where this storyline goes. It's probably the one that we know the least about at the moment, and based on where we left Sansa at the end of Season 4, I'm very intrigued.

The ending I hope the season has, ummester, is Jon toppling in the snowy CB courtyard bleeding, while NW men go to kill the locked up Ghost BUT then Jon's eyes roll back warg style and Ghost leaps at whoever opens the kennel.

That would be interesting - jumping us a little ahead of the books, just a tiny bit, without giving anything that much away.

There are some good scenes over the 2 books to squeeze in.

Arya's training could be very enjoyable to watch - wonder if her mentor will initially have that skull face with worms? Also, that scene where she sees all the hanging faces and gets a new one attached.

Theon should also be interesting.

This could be the first season where Tyrion takes a back seat.

The ship insurance man will be in too.

Yes, I've seen the casting call for the "man with the long thin face and shrewd financial cunning", and I agree that he's a strong candidate to be the ship insurance salesman that Arya kills. When referring to the climactic moment of Arya's storyline, however, my thought process was centered on Maisie Williams (in her 'Cat of the Canals' costume) and Ian Beattie being spotted filming a scene in the Braavos square that was directed by David Nutter. That leads me to believe that Arya killing Meryn Trant will serve as her big 'Episode 9/10' moment this season. She could still assassinate the ship insurance salesman, of course, either before or after that happens.

Ultimately, I think it will depend on just how long Benioff and Weiss plan to stretch out Arya's training. If they want to get her back to Westeros sooner rather than later, then it could be mostly wrapped up by the end of this season (she just needs to change her face at least once before then). If not, that arc could extend further into Season 6.

All with Stannis, Sansa, Theon and the dragons. Any scenes with Mel creeping on Jon as well.

I'd kill for a Stannis/Jon/Mance/Sam/Mel/Davos/Aemon scene, but that's likely not happening.

Huh, if you mean a scene with all of them appearing and interacting with each other, why do you think it's 'likely not happening'? They're now all at the same place and meet/met/will meet each other, and it's interactions like these, I'm really looking forward to!
