Weeping Sore
Ever wanted to start a GenChat thread but you were afraid to watch it sink down the page without views or comments? Now's your chance to start a thread nested comfortably within this one. As every response should be the OP of a thread that will never get responded to, if you get no responses, you're doing it right. ETA: Though I suppose each successive OP could refer obliquely to a previous OP, sort of how a Jeopardy question is really an answer.
Lord Flashheart
How much cheese is too much cheese? A thread about loving cheese. Umm yeah. Talk about cheese.
Weeping Sore
Are Cheese Lovers an Existential Threat? People who love cheese look like ordinary people (actually sometimes they dress like 18th-century fops, but hey, whatever) Can we really trust anyone who eats partially decayed drippings from the mammary glands of obese ungulates? Why do they think they can show their faces in public?
Lily Valley
A thread about Thread? I thought we were discussing the Dragonriders of Pern and was going to point to the Lit Forum. And add that Lessa is a Stone Fox.

Weeping Sore
Do Fictional Women Appreciate being called Stone Foxes? Would they find the term sexist or flattering? And what is so attractive about foxes, petrified or otherwise that makes the appelation a signifier of hotness?
OnionAhaiReborn
Did anyone else read the book Stone Fox as a child? "Anyone who crosses this line, I shoot." Classic.

Separate thread for a tangential discussion. If you're armed and witness someone cross that line is it acceptable to shoot?

Kikajon
How about windows in westeros?flat glass for windows wasn't even invented, there were only some expensive stained glass windows in temples and maybe in the big representing rooms in castle. How did they manage elsewhere?always keep shutters shut except in sunny day?avoid totally the use of windows?only small, cuts on the wall to let in little air and a little light and a lot of cold? Weeping Sore
Are People Who Don't Follow the Rules of the Thread Thread Ruining the Thread Thread? What do you think of people who ignore the rule that every post must be the OP of a new thread? Can the moderators sanction them, or are they just as likely to move the Thread Thread to Forum Games and lose whatever GenChat parodic potential it had? I mean Forum Games is full of virgins, is it not?

lacuna
Is there a thread for people suffering from complete indignation? I've lived in my apartment for 8 days now, and today someone stole two fuses (the old fashioned kind) from my electrical cabinet out in the hallway - while I was in the shower. No replacements were on hand, so I had to walk for 50 minutes to get new ones. :bang: :box: :bs: :stillsick: :spank:
Larry of the Lawn
The gf and I have a running gag about all the Jesus bumper stickers that you see. We want to make a line of "Cheeses" ones. "I love CHEESES!" "TRY CHEESES!" "I TRUST IN CHEESES" etc. Although really I'm disappointed this isn't a discussion of the attributes of various fibers and their respective qualities as threads. Are you a linen or cotton man? Are your small clothes wool or silk, or something crazy I've never heard of?

So how many virgins does it take to screw in a fuse? your mom screws in a fuse What is your method for avoiding ATM fees? Last year I spent way too much on these bothersome charges. Larry of the Lawn
What is your method for avoiding ATM fees? Last year I spent way too much on these bothersome charges. I go to the bank and take out a bunch of cash if I'm going out of town for late night drug purchases, bribes, etc. If I'm going to over draw my account, I go to one of my bank's atms and just take out $400 so I only get one overdraft charge instead of a few. Half measures avail us nothing. That's all I got. Have faith in cheeses.
MinDonner
I swear I once saw a brand of cheese called Cheeses of Nazareth. Though it might have been a joke, or a dream I had or something.
