Europa Universalis 4, your greatest/favorite empire

I saw a thread earlier today about the GoT mod for Crusaders Kings II and peoples favorite play throughs. So I decided to start one about your best EU4 play through (hopefully someone besides me actually plays this game)

So to begin here's my favorite

I started off as Tuscany in 1444 and immediately allied with Austria so I would have a strong protector. I started off by consolidating northern Italy under my rule. Once I had the required territories I changed myself into the Italian nation. Shortly after this Austria abandoned me so I allied with France. I then began a series of wars to take the southern half of the peninsula from Spain (who had earlier annexed Naples) along with Corsica and Sardinia. With France's help I was able to control the whole peninsula after only 3 wars.

I next set my sites on northern Africa. After multiple wars I was able to subjugate NA from Algiers to Tunisia (But this time the Ottoman empire had conquered Egypt/Libya so I could not go east yet, they were too powerful.

At this point I had advanced enough technologically to begin settling other continents. Over the next hundred years I did my best to avoid wars in Europe while I tried to settle lands overseas. I was able to create a small colony in approximately the Carolinas in North America, a large one consisting of modern day Columbia, a small one in the southern half of Argentina, the whole of the Netherlands, the whole of the Philippines, and the eastern coast of India.

By the time I finished colonizing Poland (which was a huge nation stretching from northern Scandinavia all the way two the eastern half of Anatolia) had dismantled the Ottoman Empire. This allowed me to quickly conquer the newly release nations of Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, Greece and Egypt (which allowed me to complete the Suez Canal 80 years early)

Because my new territories in the Balkans/Greece were separated from mainland Italy I then declared war on Austria to wrest Illyrian coast from them, thus connecting my newly won lands with the rest of my European empire. It was at this point sometime around 1800, that for a reason I do not understand France broke it's alliance with me.

Sadly for France this was a terrible mistake. In less then a year of them breaking the alliance Spain invade France at which point France was completely stomped! When Spain finally ended the war France was forced to release Brittany, Normandy, and Burgundy as free nations. Now while this Spanish/France war was going on I had used this opportunity to annex Savoy (which me and France had been using as a buffer state. The moment Spain and France made peace I invaded France and continued to take there until the game ended in 1821.

So to summarize in 1821 Italy stretched from Gascony to Greece in Europe. With North Africa conquered from the East Coast of Morocco to the Sinai. With colonies in the Carolinas, Columbia, Argentina, and New Zealand. While the Philippines and the east coast of India was under it's direct control.
