teemo Posted December 16, 2014 Share Posted December 16, 2014 As far as history goes, I'd say Aegon IV...his poor sister Naerys begged him to not make her sleep with him anymore after Dareon II was born because the maester said it would kill her, but he didn't care and she died from childbirth....his brother, Aemon the Dragonknight, one of the most noble and talked about warriors in Westerosi history died defending Aegon over something stupid and he didn't care about that....overall a really shit brother. Visenya was bad because she poisoned her sister-wife's son....Aegor Rivers was a pretty bad brother to Daeron and Bloodraven. He helped convince Daemon Blackfyre to start the Blackfyre Rebellion and lost Brynden his eye. Baelor was also a bad brother....he freed all the hostages even though Dorne killed his brother under a peace banner, and then confined his three sister's to Maegor's Holdfast and turned Daena into such a rebel that she birthed Daemon Blackfyre.... In modern day, I think Cersei is a really bad sibling. She has always wanted Tyrion to die, was one of the main advocates that he poisoned her son when she didn't, supported the verdict to condemn him to death, and now offers a lordship to anyone who brings her his head...she also manipulates, cheats on, and uses Jaime, the one person she supposedly loves. Viserys was a really bad brother. He molested Dany and treated her and her husband like total shit. Euron is a bad brother....he killed Balon with a Faceless Man and probably molested Aeron. He killed his sister and father, and burned his brother, while Ramsay only killed 1 sibling. Do you guys think Ramsay would flay Domeric? Gregor burning Sandor would be equivalent to Ramsay flaying Domeric. I think he killed Domeric because of greed, but I don't think he would torture Domeric. Ramsay killing Domeric is sort of like the Targaryen siblings killing each other in the Dance of Dragons. They viewed it as necessary to secure their inheritance. He showed his odd sexual immaturity and objectification of his sisters by locking them in the maiden vault. The idea that unless they were locked away that he would be seduced by them/rape them/whatever, shows he had a very stunted, bizarre view toward his sisters, and probably women in general. He did not view them as human, only as living breathing temptations that would lead him astray. Even Viserys allowed Dany some form of agency by comparison.
