Will Victarion & Marwyn take Danys Dragons from her?

Victarion has clear mission : take dragons with magic horn and take Dany by force.
He is not brightest guy but he has "dragon bounding magic horn" and since Dany is not in Meereen what can stop him from using horn, get one or both dragons on ship and go back to westeros...?

Marwyn and his goals are not so straight forward, i`m not sure is he planing to help Dany or kill her and her dragons. Victarion has horn, what does Marwyn have: sorcery & kings blood (Aemons body is on his ship CW), Valyrian were sorcerers too and there is power in kings blood (Melisandre want stop talking about it).

What exactly does Marwyn plan to do in Meereen with Dany & her dragons ?

I don't think there's enough to do anything but speculate on who will end up with the dragons.

RE - To be more specific we have a horn that when blown has a negative effect on the blower. We've been told it controls dragons, but we've never seen it blown near a dragon and nor has anybody in the book. So nobody can stop him blowing the horn. There's all sorts of things that can go wrong.. Victarion isn't blowing the horn himself. What if the dragon binds to the blower who then turns the tables on Victarion? Point is there's all sorts of things that can go wrong with a plan that hinges on a dragon controlling magic horn that has never been seen successfully controlling the dragon. Plus there's like a battle and that. Armies might count as an obstacle no?

Marwyn's goals seemed pretty straight forward to me. He said he wanted to help Dany. He left to do just that.

I believe Victarions master plan was exactly as he stated - take Danny and Dragons for himself, finally turning tables on his brother Euron.

But nothing goes according to the plans in ASOS - Danny is not in Mereen when Vic arrives there, she is even presumed dead by many, and even if she is alive she is somewhere far and away... and Victarion is not the smartest and the most patient guy on Planetos - so he takes away what he can take –a dragon or two – and try to sail back. Most probably he will be able to bind only 1 dragon – (in the spoiler chapter there is a hint - dragons split, only one remains flying over the city, while other returned to its "nest"). Of course the process of "binding the dragon" is very unpredictable at this point:

- either Vic indeed manages to somehow control one dragon, take shim to Westeros and then somehow Euron takes the dragon away, revealing his true intentions, or

- things go bad for Vic right from the moment they blow the horn – i.e. Euron is revealed to be nearby, dusky woman has a secret mission, there is a FM on the ship….we have to wait and see

Role of Moqorro and Marwyn in all this is still quite unclear.

  • 2 weeks later...

Except there is no reason to doubt that Moqorro is a proponent of Dany, Bennero sent him after all and he's clearly in her camp at this point. Maybe he thinks Vic is a suitable husband for Dany, but Mel thinks the Drowned God is evil, so does Moqorro, so you know...I think he's playing Vic big time.

We will see, Marwyn won't get there for a while, depending on what GRRM does to clear up the timeline in the book.
