Some believe he was only wounded, some think he's dead dead, some think he'll have a second life in ghost permanently or until his body is healed and some believe he'll be brought back by Mel. Personally, I lean towards seriously wounded/warging into ghost for a little while before coming back. I belive that, if he is still alive, his state is not the best and healing would be a very hard thing to archive. I do belive that maybe Mel would take part on this, as the only one that has knowledge of strong healing in Castle Black. I doubt he's dead dead though. All the dead people have either completed their purpose or have died for the better of the book. Jon's purpose is to fight off the Others, and it wouldn't make sense for him to die.I assume he is wounded and being tended (secretly) by Mel. Spells or not. He will probably warg into Ghost as his body is being healed. What is the point of being of a warg if you don't take advantage of it?Also, who would be LC as Jon is either presumed dead or dead? I think she is going to lose interest in Stannis (who is just a means to an end) and will completely devote herself to the idea that Jon is Azor Ahai come again. Is Jon really dead? I would certainly hope not. So far there are a select few characters that seem to be "unkillable" (even for GRRM). Jon seems like one of these characters.
