How will the seasons turn out at the end?

Sorry if this is already done but I havent seen anything like it yet.

How do you think the seasons will be at the very end of the series?

Will it stay the same?

Will it result in The Long Summer?

Will the seasons become normal length?

Will the Long Night come about?

Tell me what you think with your reasoning.

I think the CotF sacrifice themselves to set the seasons right.

"A Dream of Spring" to me means something like: "Hey it's still Winter, but hope I'll see a Spring soon"

So I think at the end of the current story there still will be Winter and we won't know what's next.

As the above poster said, it'll still be Winter by the end of the series imo, with only the dream of it ending keeping people going. Will the season cycle change though? George apparently did say the season thing would be explained, or maybe it was something connected to that, I'm not sure, but I'd say things will be either clear as to the length of the seasons, or something involving the Battle for the Dawn, Bran, and tcotf will morph the season cycle so that they are shorter.

I think we can all rule out the endless Summer, that would probably be a bit too "happily ever after" for George to write.

I think that the seasons are all fucked up because of magic. I also think that the story of ASOIF is moving towards the death of magic.

So my answer is "The seasons become normal length".
