Stannis th3 Mannis Posted December 21, 2014 Share Posted December 21, 2014 Seems to be the Winter Threat is for Westerose onky.more specifically from high garden up, getting more severe the further north you go.. i have not ever got the feeling or remember reading of winter being feared in Dorne..Bravose...Mareen.. am I mistaken ..if not it kind of deminishes the threat a bit in my eyes Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
QuickReviveGuy Posted December 21, 2014 Share Posted December 21, 2014 The threat really doesn't exist out side of Westeros. The weather is noticeable throughout Planteos though, such as the grass turning brown at the end of ADwD and multiple characters mentioning the change in the East. Mostly in northern Westeros not much threat elsewhere. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Posted December 21, 2014 Share Posted December 21, 2014 I'm not sure that the night that never ends won't get beyond Westeros this time. I'm not sure it didn't get beyond Westeros the last time either. Why would Volantis be so R'hllor crazy if the dark didn't scare them so much? Where did the fear of the dark come from. Cotter Pyke is saying there are dead things in the water and in the woods. If they get into boats, they can end up anywhere. Jump on another ship and multiply. I haven't read World Book yet, so I don't know if this is something that applies or not, but its definitely where my imagination took me. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
