Elia Sand
I remember there was a thread about which of the bad guys you feel sorry for, and I saw Cersei on the list. I can't deny that she's made some pretty dumb decisions, but she probably thought she was doing it for the good of the realm. What do you think? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I feel sorry for her losing her children. Other than that, the bitch deserves every bad thing I hope will happen to her. As far as your question goes, no, her actions cannot be justified. She is a horrible human being. A monster in human form.
The Wolves
Nope. Cersei is the reason all the bad things are happening to her. Just like the Maggi prophecy she helped it come true.
Faydra
Some, but Qyburn is not one of them.
cheezitguy
Overall? Nope. Even the children protection argument is really flimsy once you read into the character. She isn't completely black but is the darkest shade of grey.
LordStoneheart
Nope. The war of five kings rests of her shoulders.
ShadowCat Rivers
No.And never did the good of the realm play any role in shaping her decisions. She has only ever thought about her own selfish good (and even been wrong about it :bang: :bang: :bang: ). I pity her, but she did dig her own grave, really. A spoon of knife and fork
Sure they can be justified - from her own perspective only. She definitely has reasons for what she does, and typically she at least thinks what she is doing will further her objectives (someone can be justified and stupid/wrong).Justified from any universal moral standard - highly doubtful. FireAndBlood.
Nope. The war of five kings rests of her shoulders. It really doesn't.
Victarion Chainbreaker
Of course her actions can be justified, Cercei spends a lot of AFFC doing just that.
Lee-Sensei
It depends on the actions you're talking about.

cheezitguy
Along with Jaime, Littlefinger, Robert, and Tywin. Along with a lot of other people. The war was the fault of many, not a few. You can even put some blame on Ned, Stannis etc
Tywin Manderly
It really doesn't. Yes, it does. The War of the Five Kings is basicly ia succession crisis caused by Cersei not giving Robert trueborn heirs. One child with black hair and blue eyes would have been sufficient to prevent the whole mess.
Northernmonkey
She's pure evil. I have never even remotely felt sorry for her for the tiniest moment.

Queen Alienor
Justified... nope. She is quite cruel and dumb in certain situations. There are however actions where I don't agree with her but can understand why she acts as she does.
