Can anyone hire the Faceless Men to kill anyone else?

Take a look at this line off the wiki:

For a price, the [Faceless Men] will agree to kill anyone in the world, considering this contract to be a sacrament of their god. The price is always high or dear, but within the means of the person if they are willing to make the sacrifice. The cost of their services depends on the prominence and security of the target.

This seems contradictory to me. If someone very poor wanted the king of Westeros killed, could they hire the Faceless men to do so? If it only takes one person willing to give up everything they have (however little that might be), it seems like it should happen all the time.

It didn't say the price is lower, it only said it is different, even if nobles pay the faceless men with gold, it dosen't mean the peasants do, the faceless men might ask for something else like for your daughter to join the order for example.

"The Faceless Men don't post a list of prices on their door. The way it works, you go to them and tell them who you want killed, and then they negotiate the price. The prominent the victim, the more difficult to get to, the more dangerous for the assassin and the guild, the higher the price.” George R. R. Martin

It doesn't usually work depending on the money or things the person has, it follows mostly the rule of this quote. But of course, there are exceptions: as when Arya saved Jaqen's life... that was the price, his life for other 3... maybe that's what Jaqen belived his life was worth, 3 lifes of any person. If a poor man wants the King death, the money it would take wouldn't be a thing this person could pay... even if he offers his life, since is not equal in value. I also might change from FM to FM...

Jaqen does not value his life as three lives -- he is accounting himself, Rorge, and Bitter, whom were all saved from the flames. :)
