Howdyphillip
Not that much money. It only made $1 million on Christmas day, which is pretty terrible for a $44 million dollar budget. That's theater sales only, so with VOD it made something more than that, but its doubtful that this breaks even. I doubt Rogen and Franco care though, they both got paid upfront ($8.4 million and $6.5 million, respectively) and can blame the poor box office on circumstances outside their control. The studios are looking at theatrical releases almost as loss leaders right now. The actual money spent on this movie is up to $90 million with promotion at this point. Sony will make at least three times this with VOD/Blu Ray/DVD sales easily because of the hype behind this. I am not one of those suggesting that this was all just a media ploy by the studio, but the simple fact of the matter is that the studio will profit much more because of it than if this movie went to the theatres without it. Tellus Explorer
If anyone is interested in watching. It's now on Netflix.Lol I just saw it earlier today and I was like .....why? I didn't have much interest to watch it, as it looked quite stupid, but now I'm a little curious.
aceluby
I actually quite enjoyed the movie. My fiance made me watch it a second time, and even then I chuckled at some parts. I thought it was a pretty good comedy flick.
AndrewJ
Yeah, my wife and I watchind it on Netfilx and it had us both laughing - can't ask much more than that. (Especially, we both burst out laughing at the sex scene). :)

Talleyrand
I liked it - had more laughs than expected but that could be because I watched it drunk
Fiddler
I enjoyed it. I thought Rogan and Franco were great together (like always) and I especially liked Kim Jong (I freaking laughed my ass off at his and Franco's "day" together). Overall a pretty good comedy. sologdin
kinda ok. the bromance section between franco and park is ambiguously positive about KJU, so DPRK should just excerpt the film and highlight that section, maybe screen it during their two-minute hates. film also provides a fairly standard critique of cappy journalism, regarding its frivolity and mere market-orientation, which the KJU regime would be smart to present officially. film otherwise states the normal anti-DPRK positions well known in the US. KJU death scene is stylishly done. hard to see why any reasonable person would be upset with this, as it's not really biting or novel.
