wathombe
With apologies for a double post, something caught my eye the second time around in Jon II that excited me, as Jon was saying his good-byes to Arya at Winterfell: Suddenly [Arya] looked like she was going to cry. "I wish you were coming with us." "Different roads sometimes lead to the same castle. Who knows?" [Jon replied.]" Foreshadowing?! I hope so! RemitMan
A Game of Thrones - Prologue For all the teasing that Waymar Royce endured in his short tenure in the Night’s Watch, he really was a brave man when it counted. While Will was up a tree and unable to speak, Waymar stood his ground and challenged an Other to a sword fight. Pretty good for such a young and soft kid. The Royce’s seem to be good people in general as we later see with Robar aiding Catelyn and Brienne’s escape after Renly’s death in ACOK. Sting
That is true. So far in the books everything that is showed about Royces can only instill respect to their house and it's members.
