AGOT Reread- Prologue and Jon

With apologies for a double post, something caught my eye the second time around in Jon II that excited me, as Jon was saying his good-byes to Arya at Winterfell:

Suddenly [Arya] looked like she was going to cry. "I wish you were coming with us."

"Different roads sometimes lead to the same castle. Who knows?" [Jon replied.]"

Foreshadowing?! I hope so!

A Game of Thrones - Prologue

For all the teasing that Waymar Royce endured in his short tenure in the Night’s Watch, he really was a brave man when it counted. While Will was up a tree and unable to speak, Waymar stood his ground and challenged an Other to a sword fight. Pretty good for such a young and soft kid. The Royce’s seem to be good people in general as we later see with Robar aiding Catelyn and Brienne’s escape after Renly’s death in ACOK.
