Do Bastards have claim on the Iron Throne?

Since the realm believes that Joffrey, Tommen & Myrcella are his true-born, legitimate children with Cersei, then the bastard inheritance never comes into play.

If the children were proven not to be his blood, then by Westerosi Law, since Robert does not have a true-born son, it would pass to Stannis. If Stannis does not have a son, and Stannis would die, it would then pass to Renly.

@Ser Cold Fingers: In theory, it should be Stannis, then Shireen, then Renly.

Per the Wiki page you cited,

"though by law a daughter should inherit before her uncle or cousin, a male relative may stake a claim and be judged a better choice to be heir."

Admittedly, Shireen's grayscale disfigurement would be a huge political obstacle (reducing her marriage prospects whether or not she were queen), it wouldn't seem to be a legal obstacle, per se.

I think Shireen will have a difficult time inheriting the IT should Stannis die (assuming he sits on the IT at the time). While the quote you wrote is there, I think that more refers to land and lordship, not a Kingdom. Westeros has never had a Queen in the same sense as the Kings they have had.

Well ive been wondering for a while now. Since Robert is dead and Jeoffry and all his siblings are Bastards, does the right to the iron throne pass on to Robs bastards? or does it go to Stannis then Renley and perhaps then to the bastards?

Bastards have no claim to anything and are completely out of the line of succession - unless they are legitimized, but only kings can legitimize bastards. Needless to say, none of the current kings or pretenders has a reason to do so.

Bastards have no claim at all

Unless they are known to be Bastards and given legitimacy. In which case they come last after all trueborn children

There are some complications in the Targaryen history but I haven't read much about the Dance of the Dragons conflict or the Blackfyre rebellion yet

In the case of Joffrey, Myrcella and Tommen, they have no claim at all given they aren't Roberts children

Of course Bastards can have a claim as basically anyone can by Right of Conquest if they were to happen to get an Army behind them and persevere
