Things had been rocky in the recent past but those troubles have been left behind. Let's continue to move forward together, keeping the spam positive, goofy, supportive and welcoming. We vacate the Spam Throne with happy hearts, knowing that our community is in safe hands. Thank you to everyone who participated in the Spamsmoot. Bex, Mark, Helena, Buckwheat and Nog - you deserve special recognition for stepping up and running for office. It's not for the faint of heart. For those voting or abstaining - you're all valued members here, and we'd like to thank you for keeping it light and fun. The collective attitude here is a refreshing change from the negativity and sniping of the Internet in general, and we're all lucky to be a part of it. Thanks to Ran, Linda and the Mods for giving us the opportunity to show that this little corner of the Internet can and will remain a positive place, and is deserving of the bandwidth and special status that has been afforded to us. And special thanks to Zar Lannister and ICE CROW, who brought us together and guided us as we started our reign together. Their help and support was the key to a smooth transition and we pledge to do the same for the new rulers as they set up their court. With that, HRH King Tyrion I and HRH the maid of woodlynne hereby step down and pledge our fealty to TTTNE's new rulers, King Crannog Dweller and Queen Buckwheat. May your reign be peaceful and prosperous for all of us...Long live the Spam! --------On a personal note, I'd like to add that your love and support helped me through one of the toughest years of my life. From Katie's tumor scare, through my continuing injuries, to the devestating loss of my Dad, you were here for me with a hug, prayer, joke and a kind word of encouragement. Your collective kindness has meant the world to me. I'll never be able to thank you enough. I humbly request my old titles back, and for the Crown Pooch to retain her title as well (the Crown Kitty as well, if you're feeling generous). I want to say a big thank you for all your support, for all your words, for the time you invest posting here,for a calm and fun moot, and for being great human beings. It means a lot to me to know that you think I am worthy of the responsibility and of being called queen. And I do not know how to thank you enough for that, but maybe I can think of something when it is not 22.38 PM. I would also like to thank the maid of woodlynne and King Tyrion for a great spammy 2014. You were great at your job and I will strive to be like you. ;) And seek your advice in the spam matter too. If you have additional requests for that, or want to use the ones the reds have offered to you and I do likely not remember them, post them or PM any of us, and we will do our best to oblige.
