After Vic shows up with the Iron Fleet everyone will blame New Ghis for Not commiting more ships, poor guys.

How could they not foresee a fleet of longships sailed by hairy barbarians led by talking stump and black dude destroying their ships? Silly New Ghisians.

And who would like to sack slavers city ? What would Quarth, Mereen or Free Cities do without slavers?

Warships are needed to protect trade. For example Salladhor Saan has 30 ships.

So they aren`t paid workers or slaves just volunteers

My understanding is that regular soldiers in Westeros are not paid to fight, it's expected of them as their duty to their lord or king. They do sometimes get "spoils of war" when sacking cities and such. By freeing the her Unsullied she's given them the right to not be property and to quit if they want to, but probably not any money.

From Game 32 :

"It's for his sake I'm come. Rode hard, I did, near killed my horse the way I drove her, but I left the others well behind."

"The others?"

Yoren spat. "Sellswords and freeriders and like trash. That inn was full o' them, and I saw them take the scent. The scent of blood or the scent of gold, they smell the same in the end. Not all o' them made for King's Landing, either. Some went galloping for Casterly Rock, and the Rock lies closer. Lord Tywin will have gotten the word by now, you can count on it."

Except that Casterly Rock doesn't lie closer ! A look at a map shows it, and the distances by road of the timeline confirms it : there's 550 miles between the Trident and King's Landing, and 845 miles between the Trident and Lannisport. Let's say Yoren was tired and didn't think clearly...

If we are on the subject of the daughters of Ghis, How did none of them ever try to conquer the others and/or try to rebuild Old Ghis?

Valyria.

By the time of the Doom, few remnants of Ghiscari were probably too weak to re-establish empire, instead existing as a few independent city-states.

I meant the ruined city Old Ghis, not the entire empire.

Why are there so few children of the forest?

Probably as elves in Tolkien's works and other immortal/lomg living races they don't have many childs. FirstMen and Andals fighting and killing them also may be a cause.

Also if they were wiped out and have to hide in caves (like this with Bloodraven) they may have problems with finding each other.

This small groups were isolated and died out.
