At the beginning of the episode, the Hound says to Arya that they need to get to "your Uncle's bloody wedding."

In the middle of the episode, Walder Frey says "The wine will flow red....and we will put this mess behind us."

There are several other events and quotes that foreshadow the Red Wedding but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

I have a horrible theory that Arya accidentally doomed her own brother during a conversation with Tywin, after the Southern Lords have been lamenting their lack of military success against Robb at Harrenhall.

Tywin Lannister: And what do they say of Robb Stark in the North?

Arya Stark: They call him the Young Wolf.

Tywin Lannister: And?

Arya Stark: They say he rides into battle on the back of a giant direwolf. They say he can turn into a wolf himself when he wants. They say he can't be killed.

Tywin Lannister: And do you believe them?

Arya Stark: No, my lord. Anyone can be killed.

--------

Look at Tywin's face after she says that...!!! He registers the veiled threat/hate from Arya, but he also recognises the truth of what she says. Anyone can be killed. Not necessarily in battle, if they have strong and loyal troops like Robb had, but instead at a time and place of your choosing...

I can't remember if Tywin was already writing his letters before that scene though...

He's a smart guy, so presumably he would've already been wooing the shakier of Robb's bannermen (Bolton, Frey) whether or not the plan for the Red Wedding had crystallized in his mind yet.

"Walder is clearly a douchebag" I laughed so hard!
