If Renly was given Garlan then'd be tempted to say the Tyrell brothers would cancel out the Cleganes given that GRRM has repeatedly put Loras at the same level as them and Garlan is even better than him. But those two with Jaime, who is one of the best is a team that takes the vast majority of fights unless things get stacked against them. James Arryn Posted January 31, 2015 Share Posted January 31, 2015 Renly's got a great team, but Tywin has (arguably) the 3 guys you'd least want to face 1 on 1. The Tyrells are probably right there, but Jaime kills everyone while the brothers stand-off.I'll say this: I don't think anyone in the series can come as close to breaking even with Team Lannister in this regard, so that says something for Renly's gang.
