Bastard of Lannister

Hello everybody. This is the first topic that I have posted and since I'm a noob I hope you will be patient with me. I have a theory that I have been thinking about but having trouble finding support through the books and I want to know if anyone has given any thought to it and maybe can either help me improve on this theory, or kill it all together. It includes the mystery of the tunnel that leads to chataya's brothel made for a previous unnamed hand. My theory is that the hand was Tywin and there is a bastard of Lannister out their somewhere and this person is the valonqar. Imo there has been an emphasis on bastards throughout the series from their names to different bastards from different houses and views on bastards from different parts of westeros. In the very first book I feel there are 4 main houses. They are in no particular order the Starks, The Targs, the Baratheons, and the Lannisters. With the Targs, they have a long history with bastards that we learn more about as the series goes on and through other books related to the series. Huge story line there. Also we have a huge story line about Jon Snow, the Stark bastard that everyone and their mother has talked about. With Robert Baratheon, funny how all his children are illegitimate, And his legitimate children through Cersei are actually bastards. However, Cersei children dont have bastard names so technically speaking at this time they are the real deal. Which brings us back to house Lannister, and with that Tywin's branch of house Lannister. Now i say that the tunnel was built recently, for a hand who wished to remain private. It leads directly to a brothel named after a woman who in all honestly isn't a 100 years old. The tunnel wasn't built to a bakers place that was sold and turned into a brothel. I'd say that the brothel was there already and some agreement took place to build the tunnel. Also a private tunnel like this would take great expense, plus the ability to keep it quiet while it was being build. Damn near impossible unless it was built in a time where something so big was going on that nobody else would pay any notice. imo I think this took place during the Defiance of Duskendale, when the mad king Aerys was held captive. I think this is a perfect time to have a tunnel built. For the sake of arguments let's take this as being true for the time being. Who is the one character who we meet in the first book, has no back story, that mostly resembles Tywin in personality, and would currently love to kill Cersei. That person is Bronn. He is smart, cunning, ruthless and a good fighter, everything Tywin would want in a son. He has gone from being a sellsword, to a knight, to a lord, and Cersei just tried to have him killed and he knows it. I know this is crackpot from hell but I just have this feeling, and have ever since we were introduced to him as a character that there is something more. Like I said I am a noob so please feel free to add to this theory or tear it apart limb from limb. However if you do tear it apart please do so in a way that isn't disrespectful to the one or two people who might actually agree with me, if any exist. Thanks for your patience.

I think Tywin would note the fact that his bastard was travelling with the son he wished were a bastard

Not necessarily. Tywin isn't a Ned Stark to take a bastard born baby to Casterly Rock to raise. A bastard born to Tywin very possible could of been born and raised without Tywin ever even looking at the baby. In fact it's even possible that Tywin either could care less about a bastard born since he is all about the legacy of the family name, or even if he was told about the baby didn't believe it was his, but that doesn't mean that the bastard wouldn't know about his history. Also it's not like Bronn is gonna walk up to Tyrion and the first thing he says is "I'm your long lost bastard brother." Especially if he didn't have any way to prove who he was.

Tywin would have nothing to with any bastard, his or otherwise. He wouldn't care if the bastard resembled Tywin in personality and/or matched Tywin's skill at arms. The only Lannister bastard is Joy Hill, Gerion Lannister's kid.

You say he would have nothing to do with any bastard and then point out a bastard he took in...

Well, Tywin's primary concern is scandal. If Gerion brought his daughter home and acknowledged her, then left, Tywin booting her out might cause some whispers. She draws less attention tucked away at the Rock among who knows how many Lannisters.

That aside, I highly doubt Bronn is Tywin's bastard, though the tunnel being made for him is possible. I saw someone (not here) guess that the one blonde at Chataya's, Marei, might be Tywin's bastard, actually.

Also, I think the valonqar is someone that, conceivably, Cersei can identify. It's pretty much impossible to identify a half-brother you don't know exists.

I agree that Tywin got the tunnel made. If it was any other Hand, Varys would have told Tyrion. No harm done.

But the valonqar has to be Jaime.

Bronn may play a role in the final downfall of Cersei, but iirc there is nothing in the text that suggest Bronn has Lannister traits, or that he is from Westerlands or Crownlands even. Lot of people in the series are cunning, ruthless etc., so that's not really evidence.
