TOCR815 Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 I'm still trying to figure out why Janos was sent to Castle Black along with Thorne and the Lord of Bones as his prisoner. Was he supposed to take command in Bowen Marsh's absence after the latter was wounded? And why was he sent so late? The garrison had already repelled Styr and held off Mance for who knows how long before he showed up with a little escort from Eastwatch lol. I think the Lannisters were angling for JS to become LC, so both he and Thorne went to CB where, due to his rank as a lord of the realm, Slynt would run things until a new LC was chosen.
