My suggestion for Casterly Rock wouldn't be a castle but rather the Valley of the Rocks coastline in Exmoor with fortifications CGIed onto it, the rocks already look someone castleish so it would probably mesh quite well. As far as Highguard goes maybe Cowny or Beaumaris Castles in Wales? suitable large medieval castles with some well tended grass around them. Zil castle is in Northern Turkey and was built in 14th or 15th century. I hope we can see a Tower of Joy scene in S6. It is in a deep valley but the environment is so green for Dorne. But they can use CGI and other staff to eliminate the forest around it :lol: This castle was used for spying the crossings of armies and caravans between mountains so it is similar to Yronwood Castle.
