[BOOK SPOILERS] Brienne into LSH?

I have seen multiple people pointing to Sansa to replace the character (at least in theme) of LSH in the show. It would seem that the primary evidence for this is Petyr's pep talk in the trailer about vengeance/revenge.

However I was thinking more about the inclusion of the BWB and the idea of resurrection. Many, myself included for the most part, think that these bits were included to foreshadow/show the power of the Red God/Mel's powers (especially since she met up with them briefly) - and especially to foreshadow magics she may work on a deceased Jon Snow later on.

However I am wondering now if BWB could run in to a different corpse along the way. What about Brienne? In her last scene of S4- Brienne talks with Arya and tells her how she swore to her mother that she would find her daughters and bring them home. She is all about keeping her oath and doing right by her word. Is it possible that letting Arya slip through her fingers ignites an new anger in her? She feels like she is failing Cat, failing Jaime. Her and Pod may meet up with the BWB and she and them reek havoc and revenge on the Freys in the name of Cat and her lost girls.

She could possible die or get injured in battle, and Beric gives her the kiss. Not saying she would become the exact RevengeZombie that UnCat becomes, but given that Jaime is in Dorne this season and she and Pod are in the BWB area....

I may be crazy, but you never know!

I guess that having Sansa in a LSH role is more plausible. I do think that's what's going to happen, considering the book material we have available... they could kill Brienne off too, and that would be easier for them to do :'( though that would feel a bit odd, as they've put a good deal of effort into her arc last season, it should at least have a good wrap up.

oh but who am I kidding this is D&D we're talking about. look at what they've done to the Iron Islands and Greyjoys D:

The LS arch doesn't fit into this adaptation of the story. It's about condensing it down, trimming out all the fat. LS is one of many characters who doesn't bring enough to the table to justify including her, for the TV adaptation. I love her character in the book, and look forward to seeing where that goes... Also, If Jon is being resurrected too, then I think that'll be too many resurrections in a short space of time (+Robert Strong), which would seem a bit... silly? All the indications are there, for instance the Riverlands plot being totally slashed, it's completely evident they're not including this character.

I don't think LSH is cut ...

I was just checking out an article and it claimed Lena Headly had posted a heart out of stones as a tease on her twitter:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/game-of-thrones/10849765/Game-of-Thrones-30-things-you-didnt-know.html

It is not a real spoiler for book fans, however, she has not read the books:

So if she did not get it from the books, she must have gotten it from the script ... If she has not read the books it would be a weird thing to pick up and tease about, isn't it.

Edit: perhaps I am seeing ghosts but at the end of the video fragment she says 'Let's bring them back' (about dead characters).

I'll say it again. I believe Cate will return. She is not a throwaway character like Coldhand or Aegon. Cate is one of the important character who has been around since 1st episode and she still has unfinished relationship with Jon Snow that will need to to resolved before her character dies permanently.

This just confirms what I have believed all along.

I feel like Brienne isn't emotionally involved enough to want revenge like that. With Stoneheart, she saw her firstborn child, her pride and joy, her only living son (Bran and Rickon thought to be dead) murdered in front of her eyes. Brienne, on the other hand, has no motivation. Also, Brienne just isn't that kind of person.

You don´t have to read the books to know about such a moment. She posted that stupid pic last season and LSH did not happen. She will forever be hated for that.

Yes, about the same time she would get the script for the next season ...

Hate is a strong word and a bit childish to use in this circumstances ...

seen the latest raven vision (or whatever its called?)

Brienne: "All i wanted to do is serve a good lord. all the good lords are death, and the rest are monsters"

together with the very gritty look, it looks like a good theory to me now

I just don't belive that LSH is cut. Why would they do that? LSH would make huge buzz for the show. And would just be cool to see that secne from the book on the TV.

But what happens after the buzz and the cool scene? It could backfire down the line. That could be a problem.

^ I saw that Raven sight thing as well! LSH may not be cut, but that glimpse made me feel for sure that Brienne will do something along the lines of revenge/avenge the "good lords" business- whether that means joining with the BWB or something else.
