Which bit of TWOIAF would make the best book?

Recommended Posts

As the title suggests, I was wondering which part of The World Of Ice And Fire would make the best book on it's own. I would personally love to read a book based on Robar Royce fighting against the andal invaders. I feel this is something that would make for an incredibly interesting and exciting story (even if he did eventually lose). So what about you? What bits of Westerosi history do you feel would have made the best books?

Aegon's Life & conquest

Faith militant uprising (aenys to Jahaerys)

Death of the dragons (Including TRP & TPATQ and the Regency of Aegon III)

Conquest of Dorne (Daeron and Baelor)

First Blackfyre Rebellion

Robert's Rebellion

I think we will hear more about the last two in the next books of ASOIAF and Dunk and Egg.

Full Dance of Dragons.

Robert's Rebellion.

First Blackfyre Rebellion.

Hopefully if Fire and Blood comes about, we'll know some more.

We know pretty much nothign about Blackfyres. The 3rd and 4th are pretty mcuh indistinguishable, and the First is left so ambiguous. Only the War of the 5 Penny Kings is covered well.

I agree with the suggestions about Blackfyre's and Robert's rebellions. I presume the truth about the latter still has to come out in the remaining books, but it would be great to get a book on it after. This will probably never happen, but we already have Dunk and Egg along with TPATQ, so who knows what else we'll get?

As in, getting actual POV chapters like the main series? If so, the full Dance of Dragons, by far. Can you imagine a Helaena POV for Blood and Cheese? Or an Aegon/Aemond/Rhaenys POV for their dragon fight? There would be some incredible POV chapters in such a book.

Failing that, the full story of Maegor, including Aegon 1.5's claim for the Throne
