ThinkerX
http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/police-raid-club-of-pot-activist-who-quit-tv-job-on-air/ar-BBiyjBJ?ocid=msnclassic ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Anchorage police served search warrants at marijuana activist Charlo Greene's Alaska Cannabis Club after receiving reports of illegal marijuana sales. The police took marijuana and impounded a Dodge Dakota and a Jeep Liberty on Friday, KTUU (http://bit.ly/1ARX4oU ) reported. Greene is a former television reporter who gained notoriety when she quit her job on live TV in September with an expletive and announced she's becoming an advocate to legalize the recreational use of marijuana in Alaska. This part is particularly annoying: Greene said she was "incensed" the police executed a search warrant on her instead of focusing on a stabbing and shootings that happened nearby just a few hours before. And Alaska voters last year approved a ballot measure legalizing the recreational use of marijuana. But it's still illegal to sell the drug. Fragile Bird
The republican presidential clown car now has a driver: http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/sen-cruz-will-be-first-major-name-in-2016-campaign/ar-BBiyUiv?ocid=msnclassic Lively debate in the comments section about how he is not eligible to be president on account of foreign birth. As to Walker...I still maintain he has a fair chance of ending up in a prison cell about the time the new president is sworn in. Him and Christie both. Here in Canada the news reports all started with "A former Canadian has announced he's running for president..."
Shryke
It's good that Ted Cruz is running. Every circus needs it's clown. In a stunning display of orginization, Ted Cruz's campaign has of course already grabbed such obvious URLs as TedCruz.com and Tedcruzforamerica.com . TerraPrime
You were fearful that there might be a lack of clowns in the GOP primary before Cruz declared he's running?
The Iceman of the North
You were fearful that there might be a lack of clowns in the GOP primary before Cruz declared he's running? Considering the lack of clowns in the previous election, I can understand his concern. There were at least one GOP primary candidate that weren't a clown - I believe, he may just have fallen out too soon.
awesome possum
He announced his candidacy at the same place founded by a guy who thinks 9/11 was caused by the gays. Oh, Republican politics, never change. Okay I'm just kidding. Please fucking change. It's 20-goddamned-15.

USA!) and was surrounded by 10,000 college students who just adored him. Right? Um, no. According to them, it was MANDATORY that they attend and they used social media to tell exactly what they really thought of him. http://www.businessinsider.com/liberty-university-students-on-yik-yak-during-ted-cruzs-presidential-campaign-announcement-2015-
Shryke
You were fearful that there might be a lack of clowns in the GOP primary before Cruz declared he's running? Circuses need many clowns. After awhile you get tired of seeing the same performance.
Shryke
Also, more GOP tantrums cause they don't have the White House:Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) warned Thursday that he would slash U.S. funding to the United Nations if the body decides to lift its sanctions on Iran as part of a nuclear agreement. http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/236395-graham-threatens-to-withhold-un-funding Apparently McCain is on board with this, as you'd expect. Gotta hold something hostage against the terrible possibility that peace with Iran is achieved.
Maithanet
So he made his announcement at LIBERTY UNIVERSITY I played at an ultimate tournament at Liberty once. There was a (homecoming?) parade at the same time and Jerry Fallwell drove by and waved at us. Someone yelled at us to "put a shirt on!" I think the ultimate team was disbanded by the school the following year.
IheartIheartTesla
I hear Ted Cruz has the 3 year old vote locked down though, he should win the Presidency in 2032.
Fez
Much like the honey badger, Donald Trump don't give a shit. On the same day that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) announced that he's running for president, real estate mogul Donald Trump dusted off his old birther rants, suggesting that Cruz may not be eligible to become president."He's got a hurdle that nobody else seems to have at this moment. It's a hurdle and somebody could certainly look at it very seriously. He was born in Canada," Cruz said in an interview with myfoxny.com, adding that "you're supposed to be born in this country."Trump, who claims to be considering a run for president himself, said he "didn't know how the courts would rule on it. It's an additional hurdle that he has that nobody else seems to have."Trump led the charge on the debunked view that President Barack Obama wasn't actually born in the United States and had a fake birth certificate saying he was born in Hawaii. sToNED_CAT
I don't know how it applies to this situation but typically isn't 66% of both houses what it takes to prove the president wrong? Yes, they can overrule his veto and pass pretty much everything, but really, if Obama was really bothered about such thing as constitution he would've realized he needs the support of 66+% of Senate to approve his deals, especially so important as this one with Iran. Instead somehow USA got to a point where Congress needs supermajorities to overrule His Majesty, and His Majesty needs only 34 senators or equal percentage of House members to do whatever he wants. Summah
how much of the goverment has to disagree for Obama to maybe be wrong? Considering there used to be consensus that slavery was ok and then later on that jim crow was ok in congress, I don't think you can make the argument that just because a lot of people think something means it's right.
