JonSnow81
I haven't read any of the books yet (I hope to read all of them very soon), Ive watched every episode up to end of season 4. Will Jon Snow become better than he already is? Is he meant for greatness? Will he find real love?

juanml82
I haven't read any of the books yet (I hope to read all of them very soon), Ive watched every episode up to end of season 4. Will Jon Snow become better than he already is?Better in which sense? A better swordsman? A better leader? Less emo?I think the answer to all that is "no", but he does get to mature. That episode title called "Kill the boy"? That's regarding Jon, and it's not what you're thinking. Is he meant for greatness? We don't know yet. The first trailer seems to suggest it, IMO, but I don't think this series is going for a messianic figure who's the Hero with capital letters. Will he find real love?Well, he found his wolf, if that's what you mean :PAs for women, there is Melissandre, so there you have it: no.

JonSnow81
When I say better than he already is. I meant will he become more important. Will he achieve greatness (by becoming King of the 7 Kingdoms). I can see the possible union of him and Daenerys Targaryen. Maybe when she finally decides to come over and claim what she believes is hers. She'll fall in love with Jon and he will become King. Who knows. All I hope to know is that I want Jon to have a very important role in the series and not get killed off. I would like to see him either King of the 7 Kingdoms or at least Lord of Winterfell. Can he become that or will his vow to the Night's Watch keep him at the Wall??
The Man from Nowhere
Depending on his parentage Jon may represent the series title. But what does that mean? A song of ice and fire doesn't necessarily mean westeros will be ruled by Jon. Perhaps it is just a story of his existence. If Jon is not Rhaegars son, but still related to the Starks- which he is- then Jon may be the song of ice and not fire. This could mean Danny is the fire and the story is about both Jon and Danny.Personally it is known that rhaegar liked to sing and play his harp, and I believe the song of ice and fire title represents a song made by a father(rhaegar) for the birth of his son(Jon).Regardless of what you believe the song of ice and fire is obviously about the Starks v the targs, or the others v the dragons, or rhollor v the great other lol. Or the summer vs winter.

JonSnow81
Whoa Ive just did some tiny reading on the theories of Jon. What a mind battle. Ive watched up to the end of Season 4 on DVD (I was given the first 3 seasons to me for a xmas present) and haven't read any of the books yet. So im not educated in the world of GOT. But I never saw this coming. When will this "HUGE" secret come out? Season 5, 6, 7????

JonSnowed
Jon may well be the overall main character of the story but it's extremely unlikely he will marry Danny and live happilly ever after, far more likely he will kill Dany to restore peace (this is far more likely his overall character arc in line with Azor Ahai prophecy). Will Jon Snow become better than he already is? Is he meant for greatness? Will he find real love? Jon falls in love with Melisandre . . who has been resurrected by R'hllor. Jon and Melisandre have a child and call him, "Paul Steam." Paul Steam matures from babe to man in a fortnight. Paul Steam leads Saves Stannis in the Battle of Ice and the North is Spared. The White Walkers invade and right now Mel, Stannis, Paul Steam and Jon are waiting for Dany to arrive with her Dragons so they can be warged by Bran and BloodRaven.
