These are the in-universe reasons for their absence. RL reason is to save space for new materials about the lands like Yi Ti that we knew nothing about. Yeah there was nothing about Lhazar, not even a single mention. The only Lhazareen thing in the world book is the mention of godwives in Asshai, priestesses of the Great Shepherd. I think it's just because they're not considered important. They're a group of peaceful shepherds that, as far as we know, haven't really made any contribution to history. Yes but they didn't have their own sections, we only learned Qarth's background which turned out to be not as amazing as they claim so, fitting Dany's Qarth arc in aCoK, a city that is too beautiful to be true.(Not that the city is not real lol, it just her people) I think the main reason is that Yandel doesn't like how they glorify themselves so he gives Jade Compendium for those who wants to know more about Qarth. Ghiscari has even less mention than Qaathi. There is only a handful descriptions of the cities and some details about numerous Ghiscari vs Valyrian wars. It's a while since I read the relevant passages, but couldn't it theoretically be that the Lhazareen are extremely few in number, and/or just one of many insignificant peoples living in the area? To be honest, they remind me more of ancient Israel/early Christianity meshed together. The idea of god being a kind of "Great Shepherd" is a common allegory in Christianity, and the ancient Israelies were known for being sheep herders--but then again so were many other cultures.That's also why I figured we never got a lot of information on them, as that would be treading into too familiar a territory. As it wasn't mentioned as a Valyrian city, I assume it was a Ghiscari city.Asabhad. %100 sure it is a Hyrkoon city but it wasnt in the world book, even tho its not ruined and a port city.Manticore Islands.Lhazar. No, I agree with you here. It’s highly suspicious by omission. We also got almost nothing on ancient Vayria itself - a lot more about their victims, and the Targaryens. Tolos is said to have the best slingers in the world as they use lead instead of stone. It's the same info in aDwD. No extra info about Elyria. No mention of Isle of Cedars too.
