Tyrion and Marwyn's relationship

What do you think their relationship will be like? Assuming they meet up with Dany (or at least meet up and work for her cause without her), what will the dynamic be like? Tyrion's cleverness must be known to Marwyn, but what does Marwyn think of Tryon? He's wanted, he's a Lanister, he's the Imp.

It'll be interesting to see if they are able to work together.

What do you think?

Well it's hard to say what Marwyn's goals are. There are some proponents for Marwyn being Dany's Grand Maester, but we know that the Grand Maester is the only member of the Small Council not traditionally chosen by the ruling monarch. The GM is chosen by the Conclave at the Citadel. However, Dany doesn't have to follow this, especially if Westeros goes through a paradigm shift before/during/after Dany's arrival. And if Tyrion is her hand when that happens (most theories point in this direction) he will certainly have a say in it.

But in terms of Marwyn's goals, there's a lot of evidence suggesting that the maesters of the Citadel were the ones to bring about the eradication of the dragons in the first place. Also, taking into consideration that Mirri Maaz Durr claims to have been trained by Marwyn in dark arts (Marwyn is the Archmaester of Magic), it's really hard to say whether Marwyn will help or oppose Dany. But in any case, I suspect Tyrion would ultimately advise caution around Marwyn. However, Marwyn doesn't seem to be in Quaithe's prophecy:

"No. Hear me, Daenerys Targaryen. The glass candles are burning.

Soon comes the pale mare, and after her the others. Kraken and dark flame, lion and griffin, the sun’s son and the mummer’s dragon. Trust none of them. Remember the Undying. Beware the perfumed seneschal."

BUT, it starts with "the glass candles are burning". I think it just suggests the return of magic, but it may have something to do with Marwyn, not entirely sure. But this prophecy does advise her to not trust Tyrion himself (if Tyrion is the 'lion', which he most likely is). So I think when all of these people come together--including Marwyn--I think we're going to see a royal cluster f and Dany will ultimately be on her own.

We can elude from Sams last chapter in AFFC that Marwyn is atleast not in league with the other maesters whose prerogative it is to live in a world without dragons. So Marwyn is atleast on the side for a world with dragons. And Marwyn genuinely seemed to want to help Dany. Or maybe use her in a way that won't be too detrimental to Dany.

I think by the time Marwyn reaches Dany, She will have gone through whatever she needs to go through before she's ready to set her eyes on Westeros. May it be uniting the Dothraki into a single huge Khalasar, or figuring out the debacle at Meereen. So I think Marwyn will end up seeing Dany before Tyrion does.
