Awful.Jon + ygritte so many uneccessary you know nothings...These are the scenes that should bother people.Sex scenes, who cares; if you can't watch a sex scene there's something wrong with you.Violence ho hum whateverIt's the acting and writing that should bother you! Mr Smith Posted April 7, 2015 Share Posted April 7, 2015 3x07 - Ramsay taunting Theon with his girls; the whole winding him up sexually and then castrating him was really tasteless. 2x02 - Littlefinger's 'peep holes', again unnecessary and tasteless, not to mention creepy. 4x05 (or 6?) - Arya's 'nothing' line. The butchering of that plot line and Kit's "why am I a confused doofus?" permanent facial expression are tough to watch. Also any of the Robb/Talisa scenes. Most cringeworthy for me is a tie between the season one sexposition scene with Littlefinger, Ros and the other woman and the Dany letting the slave sell himself. I 100% agree that thats what she should have done, and I felt like that scene made Dany look immensely stupid. Pity, since I was glad they were showing that the whole 'free all the slaves and then leave them to their own devices' thing wasn't suiting everyone. This must be a book reader thing because nothing about that scene stood out to me at all ( Im surprised people even remember it) Anyways the most Uncomfortable Scene for me was hands down Littlefinger's brothel scene Now don't get me wrong Im am no prude and I definitely love a good sex scene but that scene caught me off guard the first time I watched it It seemed to go on forever and it was one of the few time the show made me feel like I was watching real porn lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not a professional actor and bad acting makes me cringe :P It's not as if one requires knowledge of the profession to be able to distinguish 'bad' from 'good'- that's sort of the entire point of acting in the first place. But no, I meant that people are simply saying things they didn't like and not things that made them 'uncomfortable'. Kit Harington has his mouth open for the entire first season. It's something that annoys me when I watch it, but it certainly not anything like "Joffrey forcing two prostitutes to beat each other with sharp instruments" or "babies being murdered". "Disliking something" ≠ "makes me uncomfortable". That's my point. I could easily like what the show does with something and still feel uncomfortable watching it.
