Raunchel Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 I realize that this might seem like a slightly stupid question, but I was wondering about what happened to the bodies of the Targaryen dragons. We know that they skulls used to be in the throne room, but where did the rest go? I think that they would've been done away with as much as the Targaryens could. I mean, how scary is a humpbacked dragon with a clubfoot? Exactly, not very. On top of that, they would be too ashamed of these dragons to show them, even their bones. I suspect they were either put away very very deep in Maegor's Keep or destroyed by the Targaryens. Kyll.Ing. Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 Dragonbone is used as a material for some things, for instance the infamous knife Catelyn found, which had a dragonbone hilt. I think the craftsmen of King's Landing could have paid a decent sum of money for the skeletons, to use to make fancy stuff.
