Cadet Houses Question

Recommended Posts

This will be focused on the House Lannister of Lannisport.

Does any Lannister give a crap about them? with that question, were there possiblly some Cadet Branches of House Lannister in the Rebellion at Kings Landing? (Not within the place joffrey and the kingsguard were, but where Tyrek and Lancel and stuff were there.)

Thanks.

Well they have become a lot more important since the Lannisters of Casterly Rock are dropping like flies. Kevin is dead and Lancel has given up his inheritance rights. Tywin is dead, Tyrion attainted, Jaime maimed and sworn to the Kingsguard. Tyrek is missing, Karstark killed 2, Stafford bit the dust, and a lot of others died as well.

it would take an awful lot for them the lannisters of lannisport to inherit though, not sure how long ago their branch split off, but even if all the lannisters we know from the casterly rock branch died, they still probably wouldnt be the first to inherit, its like how the karstarks wouldnt be the heirs to winterfell if all of Ned's family died out, it would be some Royce

Among Tywin Lannisters titles the shield of lannisport appears. Or it might mean nothing, like mace tyrells "defender of the marches". Pretty sure the marches kinda follow the stormlands.

There are some Reachman marcher lords like Tarly and Peake.
