And he's wondering what the point of Brienne is because she hasn't done anything since season 3. I grumbled something along the lines "It's because her plot makes no sense because a certain character is missing." He wasn't terribly impressed with the introduction of Dorne either. Mum knows Dany is in deep shit and was wondering why she didnt appeal to the people about the fate of that one guy. She was like "well look at this pile of shit. Just in time for Tyrion to come and fix it." So shes pretty much on to that. (ahead of me anyway. I still cant make heads or tails of this big fat change) Mum rooted for Jon so hard, she cheered. Shes also dreading where Sansa's going once she put two and two together. "You know where hes taking her right?" i ask. "...Yeah." "You know who's there now, right?""Yeah.""Remember what LF said about marriage proposal?""O M G" *most horrified look on her face. Yeah she didnt miss a beat really. Also rooted for Kevan. Mother of Mini Dragons Posted April 20, 2015 Share Posted April 20, 2015 Not too many comments yet. But for some strange reason my Dad is obsessed with Gendry. He CANNOT stop talking about him and bringing him up in relation to the show even when he has no relevance. So when I saw him this morning briefly, he was really excited about the show - mentioned Brienne's awesome sword and then brought up Gendry. I just started laughing and drove off. I'll get more of his comments later. Oh yeah, my hubby was disappointed that Jon didn't take Stannis' offer. He was a little let down by how much Dany sucks as a ruler and agreed that it probably was a good idea for her to stay and learn how to rule b/c she doesn't know what she is doing. I have some awesome talks with my m-i-l about it, though...she hasn't read the books, but she's pretty sharp.
