The Final King will be a Manderly

My pick for final winner will be one of the Manderly's. The reason isn't obvious, but that lack of obviousness is why it is the most obvious choice for a sneaky author like GRRM.

I've tried to search these forums to see if anyone else has posted this prophecy, but I couldn't find any.

Without evidence or logic it's more of a guess than a theory, though I'll grant you it's original :D

Wouldn't Hodor be even less obvious?

:agree:

If we're going by least obvious my money is on Hodor too!

Nah, the Manderlys are responsible for Frey pies. The Rat Cook was not rewarded for his treachery, the Manderlys won't be either.

The Manderlys were very clear about the parting gifts they gave. No treachery there.

It isn't a guess. There are a couple of clues, but one clue is so obvious it's discounted and one that is hidden several layers deep. Which is why I think there is a good chance they are the intended winners. "Narrative causality", or whatever the GRRM version of that would be.
