Howland Reeds Weed Swamp
I'm curious. Something I picked up in a season 4 rewatch was Craster's Wives calling them God's. As we know for our theories, books are out canon source so I'm curious if it's ever said? The whole god thing can be taken out of it's true meaning but don't a lot of theories do that? aryagonnakill#2
Mormont says the wildlings worship crueler gods than you or I to Jon, since most worship the old gods obviously some are worshiping something else. GRRM also mentioned that Crastor was not the only person who sacrificed to the Others, so I do think some people worshipped them.
anonnyscouse
I believe Craster did tell his wives that their sons were sacrificed to Gods. Whether he believed that himself is another question, he appeared to just want them dead so they weren't a threat to him when they grew up. I don't think he cared how they died, we don't know how long The Others have been coming south but I think Craster was killing his sons by exposure before The Others started taking them.
