theblitz6794 Posted April 27, 2015 Share Posted April 27, 2015 I hear an often objection to R+L=J that is even if Jon is Rhaegar's kid and even if R and L had polygamously married (making Jon legitimate), Jon is stuck with the Night's Watch. I just want to point out that if Jon (or someone else I suppose) were to defeat the Others and the Wall came down, the Night's Watch could be disbanded as their existence would be pointless. This kind of thing is also pretty unprecedented too. (And if Jon is a legitimate Targaryen and he defeats the Other's, you better believe the Throne is his if he wishes).
