Who will Sansa manipulate for her escape/revenge?

We've seen Sansa kinda manipulate Ramsay into killing his mother-in-law(it angered him tho). And next episode, Sansa tries to show Theon who's boss by scaring him saying "If I can do what Ramsay did to you, I will."

Question is, was she really trying to get him to his side though or was that just plain anger? Or both? I think it's pretty clear though that Sansa will be the one to actively organize her escape from now on. Not Theon. Any thoughts on how she'd do it and who she'd manipulate to escape? Just Theon?

To be fair, book Theon was passive as well. It was the spearwives who recruited him, made the plan and carried most of it out.

Theon will tell Sansa about the tunnels that Maeter Luwin told him about in ep 210. Meanwhile, jealous Myranda will go sulk in the village and get seduced by Pod the Sex God. She will provide the communication link between Brienne and Sansa now that the candle plot is dead. Sansa will refuse to escape. Instead, she will send word to Stannis via Brienne about the tunnels. Stannis will take Winterfell from the inside out.

Then Stannis will arrest Sansa as a traitor for marrying Ramsay (since a good deed does not wipe out a bad.)

I personally think it will get a lot worse for her before it gets better...

I also have a theory: I believe The Boltons have their "men" or a dealing with them at the Wall...there will be an uprising and John will get stabbed (as it's been rumored to be coming)..all with The Boltons backing and doing. Remember the Red Wedding, many didn't see that coming...they know John is a big threat once John discovers what is going on and what they are doing to his sister-he's a big threat to their declaring ownership to the North. It's also a way for Ramsey to gain control of Sansa-letting her know what they did to her brother...

Also, Sansa will not escape or kill Ramsey, not this season..look at Theon and how long this has been going on..Ramsey knows what he is doing unlike Joffrey (why people are comparing them is beyond me) Anway, I think next season is going to be epic

She has too, since she's stuck in Jeyne's plot, and Jeyne ends Dance escaping Winterfell with Theon Greyjoy.

I think Sansa will stab Ramsay with that knife she took then light the candle.

I hope she doesn't try. She'll fail to pierce Ramsay's plot armor (besides, unlike her, Ramsay is a trained killer) and that will only lead to things getting worse for her.

I hope she finds a way to use it against Fat Walda and let everyone think Ramsay did it, but since she's locked in her room, I don't see how that would work

Something like that would be great. Unfortunately, it seems the Winterfell storyline is really about Theon, not Sansa.

Sansa isn't manipulating anybody. Sansa is neither Margaery, nor Littlefinger. In fact my issue with Sansa right now is that I feel like she regressed.

Just to get this straight, I didn't have a problem with the whole Ramsay/Sansa line up until now. I wasn't appalled or outraged or even notably disturbed by Unbowed Unbent Unbroken and I can even relate to why the writers decided to put her into Jeyne Poole's place.

But now, Sansa is showing major signs of stupidty that go beyond trusting Littlefinger about the Bolton marriage. Sansa lived with Joffrey for years and knew exactly what sociopaths are capable of. Now she's living with yet another sociopath and she's taunting him about being a bastard. The whole reason Sansa made it this far and survived KL was that she knew how to play her part. She knew how to pretend to keep herself as safe as possible and she knew that she stood alone. All she could do was survive until circumstances offered an opportunity to escape. And since we are talking about Sansa, and not Margaery or Littlefinger, she never had the skill to shape those circumstance. The situation hasn't changed one bit, she is still not trying to shape the circumstances, she is still stuck with a sociopath.

And what does she do? Demands help from the person who is commonly known to have betrayed her brother and is now a mentally broken puppet of the other sociopath. It is beyond me how that makes sense on any level at all. To top things, she taunts Ramsay about Roose's new son and being a bastard AS IF she hadn't had ten thousand chances to learn that such thing is a BAD idea.

In fact, I'm starting to doubt that Theon will play any part in saving Sansa unless things get majorly worse for her and it'll probably be Brienne (a fair parallel to the spear wives) to get her out of Winterfell when/if Stannis gets closer. What seems more likely to me at this point, is that Sansa will save Theon and drag him with along when they run.

And why does she 'have to' when the show has no obligation whatsoever to follow the Jeyne plot?

Because it put the character in the plot in the first place - I don't want her to escape, as I'd like the show to actually do right for once and make Sansa take Winterfell from the inside. But since they seem to be putting this storyline as an escape-Winterfell one, that's the logical step to make.

Just because they put her in Winterfell doesn't mean they can't give her the ability to help herself escape.

Jeyne certainly never taunted Ramsay with his status as a bastard. Jeyne certainly didn't work on Theon to try to get his help.

So yeah...I see no reason to believe that Sansa's situation will follow Jeyne's situation in the books simply because they have merged the two storylines.

One thing's for sure. Sansa WANTS help. The question is, does she want help to escape? Or does she want help in revenge and taking WF from the inside? She seems to look strong as if she wants to flay all the Boltons, but then she does have her crying lady moments as if she wants to escape.

isn't the point that it isn't pointless taunting, it is planting the seed that his position as legitimised heir is not solid- what an unlawful king legitimises can be un-legitimised.

If this is followed through, I would expect to see the discord grow between Ramsey and Roose on this matter, and there to be consequences [ rash attack by Ramsey on Stannis??] , perhaps a proxy attack on Walda using Myranda?

early in the season when they showed clips of future episodes for the season, not just the next episode, it looked like a woman's hand, fingers, gently pulling backward on a bed rail When Ramsay goes to assault her, that is when she will strike but she will have to have an escape plan because she will have to get the hell out of there when she nails him. I wonder if LF will make it to Winterfell this season with Vale troops or not?

I either see him being confronted by Sansa or she escaping before he gets there leaving him in a panic as to where she went.

To be fair, the Winterfell storyline is supposed to be about Theon. Just another reason why Sansa shouldn't be there. And I think the Fat Walda scenario would have worked much better if there were more Freys in Winterfell to further build the tension between Ramsay and a potential Walda/Roose child.

Yes. Still can't understand why the Freys and Manderleys weren't included. It wouldn't have been that difficult to establish.
