WinterRaven
He'll probably explain that Varys (friend of Illyrio) helped him get to her. To your second question: he has no other choice. He can't go back to Westeros or he'll be killed by Cersei and her supporters.
Lord_Baelish
He'll just tell Dany that he murdered his own father on the crapper. That ought to do it.
bloodsteel bitterraven
He'll just tell Dany that he murdered his own father on the crapper. That ought to do it. And why should she believe it or even if she does believe it, why trust a man that killed his own father? I really have no idea how they're going to explain this. tallTale
And why would Tyrion work against a nephew he loves? Interesting point about Tommen. Makes me believe that the young lion's future is in serious jeopardy to setup a full on guiltless angry Tyrion revenge.

When the hell did she ever trust Daario? The only people she trusts are Missandei and Barristan (RIP).

She trusts his dick I'm sure she can "trust" Tyrion enough to hang around and give advice and shit
Candor
I have full faith that the show will contrive some reason for it. Also in the leaked pictures, he seems to be sitting on Hizdahr's side so perhaps it is not Dany who decides to take him on as an advisor but her new hubby instead? marsyao
And why would Tyrion work against a nephew he loves? It is an excellent questions, do not forget the fact that Lannisters killed Danny's family, if she accepts Tyrion, that would mean that House Lannister would be in a top position of the new regime if Danny wins which I never doubt would be the final result of the book, she has to give up her vengeance for the death of her family, would Danny do that? It would be complicate, and I want dearly to read GRRM's future books in order to know how Danny would dealt with Tyrion, but alas, that would be some time, and I have to say, based on what happens in this season, I have no confidence that D & D are capable of doing right on this subject, I just hope D & D would not ruin this too for me

DarkAndFullOfTurnips
The point about Tommen is a good one considering there aren't many scenarios where he can help Dany and not have Tommen killed or exiled at the very least.

Lord Lannister
And why would Tyrion work against a nephew he loves? Pros 1) He's killed people she hates 2) He wants to kill other people she hates 3) He's intelligent and a proven player of the game Cons 1) He's spent the whole series loyal to the usurper's line 2) His brother killed her father 3) His father betrayed her father Dany really seems to operate as much on emotion as she does reason so she could go either way on Tyrion. Though we all know she's going to take him in.
Ser Osis
And why would Tyrion work against a nephew he loves? I think Tyrion is done with KL and his family. First, he saves the city from being overrun by Stannis. As a reward, he gets zero credit and an assassination attempt. Second, he is tried for his nephew's murder, even though an idiot could figure out that he wasn't guilty. Tywin, (certainly no idiot) has to know that his son is innocent, yet is content to let him die anyway. I'm sure that Tyrion wishes no ill for Tommen or Myrcella, but at this point, it's every half-man for himself.
ni2tre
Dany doesn't trust Daario at all.And yet she keeps him close and listens to his advice.Which would be a similar relationship with Tyrion without the sex.
jet199
No one should trust Tyrion. It should be written into the law or something. He can't even trust himself.

Ferocious Veldt Roarer
Well, his family squats on the throne, but his family also sentenced him to die, so his "we don't see eye to eye, my sis and I" would sound perfectly credible.
Mindwalker
And why should she believe it or even if she does believe it, why trust a man that killed his own father? I really have no idea how they're going to explain this. She employed a man who killed his former employers. And took him as a lover. ETA: Sorry, I see this has already been covered!
