If they do a Shireen burning, will you have the heart to watch it?

I'll have to get up and do something in another room as I usually do when I can tell my comfort level has been passed. It would be to horrible for viewing. I had a hard time with Mance's last scene as it is.

Assuming you've watched Dany, Cersei and Sansa be sexually assaulted. Babies hinted at being slaughtered. Lomy's throat run through. Theon tortured. A innocent woman torn apart by hounds.....and whatever else im missing, why would Shireen being burned, cross the line and be to much to watch?

Of course we will watch it. It will be the end of Stannis once it happens and whether you like him or not, he is one of the most pivotal characters in the show. Seeing him lose the one person he values most, is a game changer.

Shireen is just a little girl with no idea what's going on around her. She never got into some mess by herself.

As far as "crossing the line", I'm not saying it's crossing the line. I'm just saying I probably couldn't watch her scream and be burned alive. It's more of an emotional thing than the physical pain for me.

Will watch it. Nothing will ever be worse in GoT than Theon's torture imo.

OMG. I think this would be far more horrific!

I'll probably watch, but any re-watch will be delayed much more than usual.

Unless of course Stannis doesn't know about it. Then I will watch Stannis' retribution on a continuous loop.

Probably. Between my fingers and sobbing the whole time. Being burnt...ugh, it's definitely one of the worst deaths imaginable, and to do it to a sweet, good-hearted child who will likely be screaming for her daddy? Aaaggh! Surely even if they do it, they're not really gonna show that. They had the decency to not show the baby's throat being slit, or Theon's wang getting cut off, or anyone getting flayed (with the exception of Theon's finger.)

Hell no, that would be just too much.

But I doubt it comes to fruition, do you think Stannis or Davos would stand for it? It would shatter the entire Baratheon army to pieces to lose the only Baratheon heir and a schism between Baratheons and Rhlooor.

In the books Shireen at least is number 2 in Mel's list after the little monster... But even then, I can see a lot of people not going along with it... Probably even the Queen's men can see how it is incredibly stupid.

I'll watch it but I won't want to. That would be the most disgusting thing they've done. I try to suspend disbelief as much as possible while watching the show and make believe it's real. Jesus, I'll have to do my best to break myself out of that whenever that scene happens. But that's not easy. If that was easy to do, no one would have reacted to the Red Wedding. They would have just told themselves it wasn't real and that would be it.

I'd watch it. I wouldn't re-watch it, though.

I find it hard to re-read that bit in ADWD where the soldier is writhing in his chains that are glowing red hot. I have a horrible mental picture of Shireen doing the same.

The boiling scene in The Tudors was pretty horrid. But, this would be worse.
