How do you all think this scene is going to go down? Do you think Jons revival is going to be in this season as well? How do you think that will happen As Melisandre is away from the wall..?

I have a theory

That maybe Stannis dies in battle/from injury.. And then it shows the FTW scene

and then Melisandre burns Shireen and is asking R'hllor to bring back Azor Ahai and then it goes back to Jon waking up..?!?

Is a huge leap because that's saying Jon is in fact Azor Ahai but it would be an amazing ending and a big shock to not just viewers but readers as well..

Thoughts??

This could actually be the last episode's title. I think it will be the final scene (that or Dany meeting the khalasar).

Yes it would be really cool I think for this to be the title.. I'm thinking that it might be the final scene also or Jon warging into Ghost(not really a fan of) or Jon opening his eyes..

is their any chance that ftw does not happen at all in the show ? yes i know all that olly hints but if olly did it alone i think it will be lame because a little boy killing a grown up man/warrior would look a little stupid even if he is off guard because you need strong muscles to use a knife to good effect and a little boy does not have strong muscles and olly is weak by the looks of him. I think if it is to happen i should not be just olly for the logic of it.

FTW should happen halfway through the episode. Then the last scene (after Varys dispatches Keven) returns to the wall, where the aftermath of the assassination is going on. Sound dulls to a low roar. Breathing sounds louder. Camera pans through Castle Black to where Ghost is huddled in his cage. Zoom up his eyes, then we hear Jon's voice.

Fade to black.

That's actually pretty cool. I was kind of hoping that with Faegon appearing being less and less likely then Varys' scene could be him saying Rhaegar's son is still alive. He has learnt that leadership is his duty not his right. He has been trained by a knight and taught by a maester. He has lived with fishermen and lowborns and highborns. But we all know that won't happen

There's always an uplifting scene near the end.

In the book, i always thought that Dany getting her period was an positive indication that she was fertile again. Since there hasn't been much in the TV series about her being infertile this might not be included but i thought it was very significant as an indication she had finally recovered from the incident with Mirri Maz Duur.

Now regarding FTW, I don't see a problem with fading to black and leaving a cliffhanger. If book readers can take it then show watchers can too. Neither know for sure whether he survives or not (although we assume). We will all then be on the same page.

Oh my gosh I never thought of that! If it's true and maybe she is fertile now then that opens up so many possibilities..

I don't think HBO would do that to the viewers though, it's so different between book readers and TV watchers that I think there would be a riot from the just TV watchers if it ended with FTW as the cliff hanger and not in a good way and HBO know that

@Jon Targaryen

What i want to know is, does FTW & Jon dying (temporarily) release him from his vows to the NW?

The Nights Watch oath states that "it shall not end until my death", however, at the end of the oath it says 'for this night and all the nights to come"..... So you would think that the last sentence covers an undead scenario? I guess I really want Jon to be released from his vows so he can take his place as king but I fear he is stuck forever so his identity is actually of zero consequence :(

To my mind, the NW & the possibly The Wall itself has to be destroyed to release Jon from his vows... that will be interesting to watch (season 7 maybe?).

I'm thinking that it would release him from his vows(well I really hope so) even if not and he was brought back and the truth is uncovered that he is Jon Targaryen I doubt anyone would challenge him if he did want to leave... Jon is very honorable and I think he will find that it is his duty to leave the watch and take up his name but then again could go totally different and he could feel like he is honor bound to the watch no matter who he really is as he took the vows. He might be changed in the process of getting revived though so who knows, I honestly have no idea how they are going do it!

I read that as a miscarriage - which would be a good metaphor for her reign in Mereen - rather than a simple period, but I agree it feels like something significant has changed.
