Locust094 Posted June 10, 2015 Share Posted June 10, 2015 Hi, I'm just curious how long, on average, it takes for a new topic in the episode sections to be approved by a moderator? I put a lot of time and thought into a new topic and, if it is approved, I'm just curious how long it would take to show up. At least if I knew the approximate time it took I wouldn't have to check back every hour to see if it's actually shown up yet or not. Also, how many new topics do you get in the moderation queue per day? Are all topics from all forums in the same queue or is it broken up by subforum? We obviously get many more threads when the show is on: right after an episode, we might get 40 or more threads in a single day waiting to be approved. Lots of those are duplicates: we can't approve them all or the show forums would be swamped with new threads. So if your thread is on a topic that's already been covered (in the opinion of the moderators) then, regardless of how much thought went into it, regrettably it's unlikely to be approved. It also depends how many moderators are available. Sometimes we're away living our lives! Checking back every hour is unnecessary, though. Once or twice a day should be enough.
