I am not gay, but I admit I teared up at this news. I am so lucky some truly amazing family members who are gay, and some equally awesome friends. Their hope is not to be condemnedto live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization’soldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in theeyes of the law.
