Bold death prediction?

With JS in balance but probably still alive who do you expect to meet their end going forward that would be shocking?

I'm a big fan of Euron Crows Eye and think he will end up on the IT at some point. But to establish how evil/much of a heel he is I expect him to kill off a main good guy - I'll say either Tyrion or Samwell, with more of a chance of it being Samwell due to their pending paths crossing in Oldtown. If it were to be Tyrion it probably couldn't happen until ADoS/the series finale episode bc Unsullied would riot.

If Loras manages to get free of the Faith, perhaps they'll send him against the Ironborn. I think he'll likely be caught up in that plot til his bitter end, but if not, he could provide a shocking death in Euron's plot without actually killing someone major.

Ding ding ding loras or garlan likely fights them in the books so the storyline is close enough i guess a character dies we have a likely winner

I believe book Euron is a very big fish. In the show, I don't know. They should have introduced him much earlier, or at least have some references. Euron should ally with Daenerys, but for his personal objectives (Westeros + Essos conquest). He would kill Daenerys people, if they discover his objectives. Tyrion or Varys would be in first line. He would probably not notice Sam. There is a crackpot speculation that Euron is Daario (impossible, unless Euron has a teleport machine). So I would appreciate to see Euron killing Daario.

Sansa will get LF, Pod will die searching for B and R, Margery will get her head chopped off by the FM, Tommen will strangle Cersei, and Euron kill kill Theon to secure his throne

I hadn't even thought of Tommen strangling Cersei. Jaime, The Hound etc...never Tommen. But that would be kind of horribly poetic.

Also I can only hope Sansa finally discovers LF truth and kills him. She needs a win, and he definitely deserves it.

I'm pretty certain both Tyrion and Daenerys will die in the books and the TV show. Perhaps in season 7.

LF will take the throne next I think (season 6) with Tommen, Pycelle, Kevan and Cersei meeting their end. Euron and Daenerys will both have a brief turn on the throne after, before the Others reach King's Landing as per Dany's vision. Tyrion and Dany will perish before Bran and Jon save the day.

I think the reason they've kept Jaime in love with Cersei is because they want to make it extra-tragic when he does end up killing her. But it kind of would be horribly poetic if it were Tommen.

I feel like there will be many character deaths next season- unless the show goes 8 seasons, in which case I expect them to keep people like LF alive as long as possible.

If I had to speculate I would say Jamie, Tommen, Podrick, Brienne and Theon are most at risk in the next book/season of the show. The three characters which I feel have the most plot armour until the end are Jon, Dany and Tyrion. Dany is at risk with the Dothraki but it makes zero sense for her to die until she reaches Westeros, Tyrion is surely safe in Meereen, Jon simply has to return otherwise it leaves a plot hole so large the entire story seems worthless. Arya I think is also safe as you would assume she is gearing up to kill another major character (Dany or maybe Cersai).

Here's my predictions by character:

Meereen/Essos

Dany - taken by the Dothraki but will escape and head to Westeros at the end of the season.

Tyrion - will clearly rule in Meereen and do a better job than Dany but where he goes from there I am not so sure, does he follow the mad queen back to Westeros?

Varys - not sure he is an end game player so he could die next season leaving Tyrion to grow and lead on his own.

Greyworm - could well die next season, don't see him as a long term survivor unless he leads the unsullied across to Westeros with Dany.

Missendei - again I think she dies at some point.

Jorah - well he's going to die, probably next season in a herioc way.

Kings Landing:

Kevan - dead man walking we know that from the books, I guess this is early next season

Pycelle - See Kevan.

Cersai - I don't see her dying and I expect her to win her trial

Margery - I think she will die, probably next season

Llorys - See Margery

Tommen - he won't make it past the mid-way next season it's clear.

Jamie - He's not going to be welcome home and not in a good place in the books either, his end game is either kill Cersei or die himself, I'd bet he's the major death next season.

The North

Jon - Has to come back, if not I have no clue what's going to happen but I will guess he comes back via Mel and is taken by Tormend and the Wildlings as the White Walkers attack the wall.

Sansa - Let's say she meets Davos and sends him to find Rickon in the meantime she flees the Boltons and potentially ends up ruling the north.

Roose/Ramsey - one of them possibly both of them will die next season, if I had to guess I would say Roose will go first even at the hands of Ramsey who could eventually die with his twenty good men against the whites.

Bran - coming back, I think will help Theon/Sansa and also give us flash backs to the Tower of Joy.

Theon - no idea where his arc is heading long term, must be a good candidate to die next season whilst helping Sansa.

Randoms:

Arya - I guess she will finish her training and head to Westeros to kill either Dany or Cersai, Dany is perhaps more likely but if so they will establish a reason next season.

Bronn - could be a good time to finally kill him off

Walda Frey - I think this is the time he meets his end.

Blackfish - think he will come back and probably also die.

Sam - I assume he's safe this season and his narrative will help us learn about the Whites.

Varys - not sure he is an end game player so he could die next season leaving Tyrion to grow and lead on his own.

We do not speak of Varys death. It is forbidden. :(

And then to follow it up with...

Bronn - could be a good time to finally kill him off

Is just cruel.

I do agree about Jon.

Not sure who eventually kills Cersei as the prophecy wording is ambiguous "the" not "your" can play so many ways and can even apply to a non-human entity. Many things are called younger brothers (or sisters). A country can be such for instance and "hands" can be a poetic flowering of language describing a griping sensation (wind, ice, fear, etc). Or the prophecy could be rigidly literal and mean exactly a younger human brother using his human hands - but her younger brother? Which? Tommen is a younger brother by definition just not hers (which applies if the prophecy uses "the")...One could go on.

I haven't read the books so I don't know how literal GRRM tends to be.

Anyway, just a thought or two there running through my head. However it happens, Cersei dying in season 6 seams quite plausible.

Tommen is a goner for sure. Margaery is definitely in danger. Kevan and Pycelle are overdue. I think Sansa could end up killing LF at some point in Winds/season 6, and Sweetrobin may meet his fate as well. I think that Roose likely gets it this year, with Ramsay probably surviving to next year. Balon Greyjoy is dead for sure (finally 2 years later). I think lots of Freys likely meet their end this season. Definitely think Dany will lose some of her entourage (most likely Daario or Jorah, IMO). At the wall I think Thorne (and his cohorts) get it as does Melisandre. And finally, I think the wall itself comes down.

Going to be a bloody season I think.

Myrcella. I believe in the coming Season is done for, she will survive the Poisonattack somehow, giving Jaime some hope and shortly after will die somehow (maybe a attack by the ironborn at sea)

Kevan - sure thing

Pycelle - samefate as Kevan

Lancel - will be used to show of Frankengregor and die pretty awfully and without glory

Some Freys - over the complete season we will have the joy of some minor familymember dying slowly and disgraceful

Jorah - Has greyscale, maybe will make it to westeros to bring the greyscale plague, has his redeeming moment in the eyes of dany and go out a hero after all

Allister Thorne- becomes known as the 999th lordcommander of the wall and the one who lost it to the WW, dies when the wall comes down

Olli - the reason for Jon's show death and the most satisfiyng death in the whole season

Theon - his arc will end as well coming season

sweetrobin - for sure

maybe's

Loras - not sure if he dies, don't see a plot atm that he is neccesary for, but by cutting his brothers from the show he will become important maybe

Mellisandre - if she does probably shortly after jons ressurection, which completes here arc in creating AA or the LH reborn

Tommen - if his sister dies, he will survive until next season

Brienne - Her finding sansa and helping her seems to optimistic, she will find sansa and die defending her, Podrick will overtake her duty

Thormund - another maybe, I see him alive but if Jon comes back early it would be to easy for jon reunting the Wildlings and the watch, it's never easy in GOT

sandsnakes - first minutes of episode 1 a fiery comet from the sky will descend from heaven and kill them all reedeming us from this horroble plot

How I would love Tommen to strangle Cersei, but as her prophecy foretold, all her children will die before her. I like the theory that Jamie will ultimately kill her - probably similarly to why he killed the Mad King - because she's lost her mind.
