There's only 1 maybe 2 awesome Blackfyres.

Sounds about right.

Starting a bloody civil war with tens of thousands dead is awesome? :P

Apparently to some readers and the portion of Westeros that backed the Blackfyres.

All hail lord bloodraven for killing the pretender

Say what you will about Lord Bloodraven but he got stuff done.

More information on the Blackfyres would be very interesting, in particular in regards to Haegon who was the supposedly, at least in my readings, second most successful Blackfyre pretender. But with some luck we might actually see both him, his kid Daemon III, and Aegor Rivers, in person in a Dunk & Egg story in the future.

I agree that the Blackfyres are among the more interesting historical figures.  It's great that in the Dunk and Egg novellas we get exposure to the key figures of that period, ranging from land disputes between former rebels and former loyalists in The Sworn Sword to active participation in the unfolding of the Second Blackfyre Rebellion in The Mystery Knight.  It seems that by default we're going to get an up-close view of at least the Third and Fourth Blackfyre Rebellions in future novellas, given that Egg is mentioned as fighting in the Third and both of them fighting in the Fourth.
