Where will Theon and Sansa run to since Stannis has fallen (most likely anyway)?

No, when discussing where to investigate in Season 4 Brienne simply stated that "Walder Frey is Lord of Riverrun now", in a manner that indicates he already possesses the castle, because if he didn't there would be no reason to rule out going to Riverrun on that basis.

Since the show is now largely caught up with TWOW, and the Blackfish is more or less where we left off with him in TWOW (on the run), there's really no reason to go to Riverrun.

Unless they contradict themselves with what they show in the future. IF that is the case then the location of the Blackfish would almost certainly put him with Dondarion and The Brothers without Banners. or Walder is declared lord of Riverrun but it is still holding out under seige.

Good point. Whether the Blackfish will reappear I don't know. I liked the actor, but I feel like his character is so utterly minor at this point it makes little sense to reintroduce him. Him joining the BWB would give it a bit more spice I guess.

If they didn't have plans for that character, they would have just killed him off at the Red Wedding.

It's D&D we're talking about.

The Vale lords declared their loyalty to Littlefinger in S04E08 especialy if it concerns Sansa. Otherwise, one of best Sansa scenes would be completely pointless.

They played a "safe card". Just like with Greatjon, Edmure, Gendry, Thoros... If they need one of these characters in future, they can easily re-introdce them as they are all alive.

I think it's likely that she either goes to the wall or my preference is that she goes in search of Rickon.  The one positive thing that I found in her storyline last season is that she was told by Theon (i.e. not some just some rumor) that Bran and Rickon were alive. Sure Jon knows about Bran from Sam but 1) Jon has his own problems to deal with and 2) doesn't know about Rickon.  Since Rickon was sent specifically to the Umbers (99% sure it was them) by Bran and we know Rickon is back next season, it would seem logical that Sansa head in that direction since she's fully aware that her brothers are alive and fled somewhere in the North.  The best case is that she and Theon meet up with Brianne and she escorts them in their journey which ends with her finding Rickon and getting the North to rally behind him and her.  I do think LF might play into that with his army, but I'd much rather Sansa have the North behind her on her own, than have her just go running back to LF and potentially dropping the brother-bomb in his lap without actually having found either of them.

None of those situations, apart from perhaps Edmure, are really comparable to the Blackfish.  The Greatjon vanished because the actor left the show between seasons; Thoros played out his book 3 story, and the show simply didn't do his reappearance, but there was no particular occasion where he could have been killed; Gendry escaping was a key part of his replacing Edric Storm, and the show has simply cut his reappearance.  The Blackfish was at the Red Wedding, and, had the writers not had a belief they would use him again, he could easily have been killed (same with Edmure).

They clearly got some plans for Lord Umber, even if the role will be recast. The producers stated, that Greatjon was not present at RW so he remains free. Then Rickon and Osha went to Last Hearth (home of Umbers) and now they are casting an imposing northern lord which is most likely lord Umber.

We may get more than one Umber. There is more than one in the books. So he is not necessarily recast. I hope not! Messes with the flow when characters get new faces.

Brienne/Pod are in the woods outside of Winterfell right?...a likely area Sansa is attempting to run to with Theon.  As a group of 4, they decide to head to the Umbers at the northern boundary of the wolfswood.  Maybe one gets killed like Pod.

I think the Riverlands is going to have the band of outlaws storyline with some returning characters.

There was a lot of discussion of the dogs. One thing I didn't see mentioned was that "Reek" lived with those dogs as one of them. So they may not feel the same way about "Reek" as they do about the rest of the people Ramsay has them chase. Dealing with the issue of the hounds might be something as simple as Theon saying hello! Good doggies!

Could be a funny scene if done right.

I can also see Theon sacrificing himself. Or Brienne vs. Ramsay's 20 good men.

Winter is comming seems to suggest that the new Lord Karstark is being cast and the SMALLJOHN Umber, so, which will be allied with the Boltons and who will be loyal to resurgence of House Stark. My guess, Karstark will be loyal to House Bolton after what Robb did to the last lord Karstark and House Umber will be loyal to house Stark. If Sansa gets captured by House Karstark, would they keep her for themselves or turn her over the Boltons?. Also, I am convinced on hunch more than ever that Reek/Theon and Sansa seperate and go different ways.
