There might be some retribution somewhere, or there might be nothing. I think the show really aimed the smoking gun of the Red Wedding at Tywin and Roose Bolton. Not sure the audience gives much of a crap about the freys. I think this is true. I am not a book reader and thus my impression is that the Lannisters and Boltons are the ones to pay.
