I know, he is so young, but if they live (and he doesn't turn in a tree), perhaps in five years the things could be different. Bran's got a major crush on Meera; that's completely predictable when you consider how much time they've spent together. However, Bran isn't even 10 yet and Meera is 16. The only reason a Bran-Meera pairing looks like it might work for some people is because Meera looks much younger than she is. But that's deceptive; she is much older than she looks. She's petite, not a pedo. Do you really think Meera would be interested in Bran as a potential love partner? Of course not. She sees him as a second little brother who also happens to be her lord. She's playing the big sister role. I'm pretty sure GRRM is setting up a Northern Love Triangle - Bran-Meera-Jon - to replace the Jon-Arya-Tyrion triangle from his original manuscript. But, at the same time, it is very tragic, considering that his situation now in the books, when he knows that he has to follow Bloodraven's steps, despite of the fact that in his inner thoughts you know that this is not what he wants. And Meera, also, knows that Bran's "destiny" is that, and, along with her brother, are not making him change his mind (just for the greater good). That's one of the reasons I don't want him to just do that, but to, at least, experience other things in life. Anyway, the main problem between them is that Bran is too young (I think that he is 9 or 10) and she is a woman (Wersterosi's standards). I don't consider her age difference a problem (in fact, I also like Jorah and Daenerys, and they have an age difference of more than 20 years) but I would love the two being together in a future, providing that Meera also wants it. So wait, does that mean Meera would be sitting *on* Bran? :stillsick: ....did I go too far there? Seriously though, Bran is totally going to be friend-zoned by Meera. Bran doesn't seem to contemplate what the whole "boy/girl attraction" thing yet (much too young), but even when he reaches puberty in a few years time, Meera will be close to being into her 20's and probably married off by that point anyways. Meera certainly see Bran just like a younger brother, not as a potential romantic partner. She is not a pedo. I was imagining a five years timeskip, when he reached puberty. Maybe she would see him differently. Moreover, he is the only male that she sees a long time (except his brother, the Old man and Hodor). Let's imagine that they remain in the cave for a long time. She could develop feelings for him. About this triangle Bran-Meera-Jon, I got to thinking about it sometimes, but I do not think that would happen. Not that fussed about the two of them with their age difference, with Jaime & Cersei, Dany & Daario and all the incest and affairs and abusive relationships in this series. This isn't today's law....
