Great stuff, keep it coming y'all. Most likely won't watch S6, and this season felt like the first time where watching was actually more of a chore than something to look forward to. There have been some wtf moments and things I found offensive from S1 on, but there was still enough of GRRM's story to keep my interest. Love Cheb's series on sexism and have to comment on the latest where women who have been disfigured in the books are still remarkably attractive. I found Sansa after her marriage with barely a bruise on her to be pretty disturbing, and said a lot about what the showrunners really consider to be "gritty realism." I also remember the interview with Natalie Tena where she mentioned being somewhat puzzled by playing Osha with a fresh Brazilian (that was from a Thronecast interview). As if people north of the Wall don't have more important things to worry about. Just small things here and there at first, but things start to add up. I'm surprised they've not killed Ghost off yet. He is clearly not as cool as a dragon (pretty much just a big dog), takes up the cgi budget and has little relevance to Jon. Ghost will be a goner, especially if Jon gets a dragon. This is probably for the best because at least Drogon knew when to save his human. Yea, I think the moment to show Jon warging was at the end of Season 5. I saw pictures of his eyes being just white but they were faked, which was unfortunate as that could've been quite good. Imagine it, the camera zooms into him, lying dead on the floor, then suddenly he goes into warg-mode and it cuts to Ghost looking rather pissed off and cuts to the credits. But my point isn't how many people believe it or not, but rather how keen they were to go ahead with it. However, the "Jon Snow is gone" angle shocks and horrifies the fans more than the "Jon Snow may be gone" angle, so figures. They could have at least made it clear why Ghost was not there for Jon (showed him in a cage, had Jon lock him in his chambers, had Jon mention that he was locked up or away hunting etc.) Just something! :bang: Also, people should not build up their hopes for Jon or anyone killing Olly. It would give people a hint, where's the fun in that? It would develop character and plot, but it wouldn't be fun at all, Much better to state categorically that Jon is 'deader than dead', and when they bring him back, OMG WTF SUCH A SHOCKING TWIST!!! Only it won't, it will backfire and look and feel stupid and cheap. But hey, they'll get months of hype out of it, and that's all that matters. I mean, they may do it just so they can show more boobs but I can't see how they'll have her without making it obvious that's she's a woman. When I first read AFFC I had no clue who it was and only after found out when I read theories on it, although I guess they could make it obvious like they have everything else. I think it's more that I really hope they don't, because I don't trust them to treat her character with any care or sensitivity at all. And please remember to try and ignore the trolls :P. I know, the name spelled backward was right in my face and never caught on until my best friend pointed it out then it was clicking. Very clever. They made Arya blind, why bother if not to "warg" the cat. Or maybe a dog, since Cat and things cat are off limits. After forgetting about Nymeria all this time, will she suddenly have a dream first? They really do seem led by what seems "coolest" or "most shocking" and it's so sad. And the things that are recognizable as "logical" plot decisions or foreshadowing are so heavy-handed it's not even funny. (Hey, remember GREYSCALE? Wait, let's talk about RHAEGAR. Arya was blinded - even though that sends her arc backwards so perhaps that is because they're going to have her warging. And with Jon they just wanted to make the ending as bleak as possible.
