Those are fightin words! :D Anyway, it's the no kings rule. As much as I'm peeved that we don't get one, I also enjoy it. I mean, would the Baratheons be half as interesting if we got inside their heads? Maybe, but to me a lot of the appeal is how other characters see them. King Stannis IS the rightful heir, period. This is a just man who is the ONLY ONE to care about the REAL threat to the north. He is the leader the country needs. He'd dig the Iron Throne out of debt, and he'd be a strong military leader to stop the WW's, and he'd govern wisely and justly. Not to mention this is someone who rewards men for their ability, and his hand is someone born at the bottom dredges of society. Says a lot. If you believe in law and order, AND if you believe the country needs a strong and just and honorable leader, he is the ONLY logical choice. As for the people who think King Stannis is dead.... that Director said Jon Snow is dead too. Yeah, like they're going to give away spoilers that keep people wondering. I saw a king, a crown of fire on his brows, burning burning, Davos. His own crown consumed his flesh and turned him into ash. Do you think I need Melisandre to tell me what that means? Or you?
