However, you began to wonder how the other half lives. So you told the Royal Court you would be spending the next year in secluded religious condemplation. While the Hand ruled in your absence, you secretly went to live amongst the smallfolk. You bought cheap armor and clothing, and pretended to be a Sellsword from Lys. In this experiment, you found that the lives of the smallfolk was difficult, brutal, and short. And a lot of this is because of aristocratic dickishness. When you got back to court, you wanted to change the laws to improve the lives of the smallfolk. What reforms do you enact?
