Victarion Chainbreaker Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 I'm actually not a big fan of fantasy. I'm working on the Saxon Tales series right now. It's pretty good. The BBC is making a TV adaptation called The Last Kingdom that is premiering in October. :agree: Saxon tales are awesome. They're not really fantasy, but historical fiction with some elements of fantasy thrown in. But if you want books with the same tone as ASOIAF that are just as good of a read, the Saxon Tales are the best out there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
A Bastard Snow Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 I re-read all of the Redwall books.Shadow of the Scorpion and all of the series.Re-read the Witcher series re-read Stardust all of the Star Wars books Enders Game and the series and Dune.Oh and all the Warhammer 40K books.That's all I remember right now.
