Mystery/cliffhanger you would like resolved in tWoW

What mystery/theory/cliffhanger would you like answered/resolved? Feel free to expound on why and/or what you think will happen.

MYSTERIES

Tourney of Harrenhal - I remember actually laughing sardonically when in TWoIaF when it said something like "there was a lot of speculation about the tournament, but that's not worth getting into". The ToH is like the rusted hinge of Westeros.

Rheagar and Lyanna- Or Jon's true parentage, Martin's been dangling that carrot in front of my face for almost twenty years. Apropos of nothing, I bought GoT 1st edition with the silver foil dust jacket in 96 for Saturday detention in high school even had it signed a few years later; but between me, two brothers, a cousin and a friend, it was read to tatters. Still have it, scotch tape and all.

The Pink Letter - That ones just aggravating, IMHO.

Coldhands - Is he the Night's King, Benjen, or a nobody. If he is a nobody, will Martin even explain how there is a sentient wight?

CLIFFHANGERS

Jon Snow - The aforementioned group that read the first edition GoT to pieces, we all buy the books now the first day it's out. I always read it in a day or two, whereas they pleasure-delay, and drag it out over weeks. They blame me to this day for ruining Jon's cliffhanger. A few days after release of DwD, we meet for a beer and they ask me about the book, what I thought, my reply was , "Martin went too far". My brother says "he kills Jon", I didn't think it'd be that obvious.

Jaime - I know Martin isn't done with him, but can't see a plausible way out.

Would also like to finally read about Howland, been waiting four books for that. And Arthur and Ashara Dayne to be alive, but that's just wishful thinking.

What happened at the tower of joy would be my no 1. But what the hell happened to Benjen is also something I'm burning to know.
As for cliffhangers, personally I'm not overly interested in Jon Snow, but I'm dying to know how Cersei's and Margaery's trials will play out. I am fascinated by Qyburn and Robert Strong (I want to know who's head he has damn it).

It's got to be Benjen. He's been gone for so long and you know then when he does turn up again he's going to have some mindblowing things to say.

Yeah, I really want to know what happened to him. It has been a long time. And the only thing we know he isnt CH!

The Pink Letter is seriously driving me mad. I have at least three options in my head that seem quite plausible for me.

Of course I desperately want to know who wins the battle of ice.

I have absolutely no idea about the LSH/Jaime/Brienne encounter. I guess I want Jaime to die, otherwise LSH wouldn't make any sense. Also, I can't see any reason why she wouldn't hang him immediately.

One mystery that has always bugged me is the fate of Hallis Mollen. Last we heard of him, he was escorting Eddard's bones to Winterfell, and we haven't seen him since. I'd really like to know what's going on there.

Cersei's trial and Jaime's future are probably the most exciting for me. The aftermath of Jon Snow's stabbing is also interesting, but Snow has never been one of my favourite characters, so I'm not overly enthusiastic.

And of course, the result of the Battle for Slaver's Bay and Dany's run in with the Dothraki.

I really cannot wait for this book to be out. It's going to be great.

Hasn't grrm pretty much confirmed the pink letter is fake ?

Uh, no. And there isn't any reason to think the letter is fake.

The mystery I most want solved is Aegon. I think do think Aegon's origins will be made clear in TWOW so I don't think I'll be disappointed.

I'd also like to see A+J=T resolved in TWOW. GRRM has been hinting at this since the first time we meet Tyrion. If it isn't revealed in TWOW, then it is probably not true.

yeah, he confirmed that Stannis was alive when Jon received the Pink Letter. but that still leaves many options... did Ramsay write it because Stannis faked his death? did Mance write the letter? did Stannis write the letter? Theon? Asha?

Gods be good, save Jaime and Brienne. I feel so stressed about it.

Same! This is the storyline I am most eager to see resolved, hopefully with both alive but I'm trying to prepare myself for the worst.

Surprisingly despite being bored with Dany the last book or two, I found her last chapter to be one of her best and I'm excited to see what happens with her and the Dothraki

I need more Oldtown! Or at least want to know what Marwyn is up to, such an intriguing character

And I'm so ready for shit to go down in the North! I'm curious to see which Northern Lords are in on the GNC
